Get ready for a daytrip round Britain. The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland has picturesque and beautiful scenery. It also has some industrial landmarks. The UK was the home of the Industrial Revolution which started in the 18th century. This flight visits some of the industrial sites of historical interest, we also do some sightseeing on the way. It's a whistlestop tour of the country. We use the Cessna Citation CJ4 for its speed and comfort. Take care not to go too fast as you have to get close to the Points Of Interest to see them. Autopilot in Nav Mode is useful but switch to Heading mode when close to a waypoint otherwise AP will start to make the turn several miles before you get to the WP. Speakers/Subtitles on, as you will hear the captain sharing information about interesting sights as we pass. Pop out the MFD as a separate window to show the Map (Right Alt and LM click). Click the TERR/WX button to show terrain. This will help navigate when approaching waypoints. Try to stay as close as you can to the pink course line on the Map/compass.
Make sure you have your map handy (LittleNavMap is my preferred guide). Don't forget to fill up with fuel on the way.
We start our trip at Cambridge. The route takes us across country to Scotland, Northern Ireland then down through Wales and finish in Cornwall.
The trip has 22 legs and is 1549nm long but can be done in one day. We have an early start, it gives you a little time for sightseeing. The NavLog suggests a duration of each leg. I found it was inaccurate for the CJ4, I suggest allowing 50% extra.
Installation:
Unpack the included folder from the package into the community folder. Restart the simulator.
Add-ons:
There may be add-ons available, however other than the GARMIN G1000 NXI I did not use any during this trip.
Notes:
- Keep an eye on overspeed.
- I have enabled Weather and ATC. ATC however may interfere with the commentary so if it does you can either switch it off or go around to refly that section of the route.
- To keep GPS/AP functions you should, before quitting to the main menu, at the end of each leg continue to the next leg and wait until the white line appears in the VFR map.
- I have avoided using apostrophes in the Narration as MSFS doesn't seem to handle them well - Apologies to grammarians.
- The Narration subtitles starts with "Missing Audio" I think this is intended for recordings of commentary. Please ignore it.
- The trip uses Microsoft Azure Text to Speech to read narrative. If you get a warning notice that services are unavailable, try going round and fly that section of the route again. It may be a temporary loss of connection.

Well, I flew the first and second legs and had absolutely no problems. The GPS works fine on the 2nd leg thanks to your instructions in the readme file to get the GPS tracking for the additional legs. I am looking forward to the third leg. I have a question: I use Bush Trip Injector also. How did you interject the comments at specific points in the flight? I know they are triggered, but how did you trigger them?
This is a wonderful addition to my Bush Flights...THANKS!

Thanks. There is a manual under Help! Basically under Events and Triggers add an Area using latitude Longitude, then add an action (in this case text to speech) then finally add a Trigger which brings the Area and Action together. If you enable Dev mode in MSFS and click World Objects it will show the various elements as you fly.

I flew the first part of the trip again and found the area around Heathrow was causing problems. I experienced jerkiness in the SIM. I thought it was going to CTD but managed to fly through it. However just to be sure I have replaced it with an updated version which avoids Heathrow and instead takes in Wembley. Hope this works and there aren't further problems later in the trip.

Thanks for the responses! I think my problem runs deeper than this bush trips problems. I think my old graphics card can't handle the simulator. It is a GTX 1060 and is a low-end card at best. Actually, I just flew the second leg from Heathrow to Gloucestershire and had no problems flying however the NavMaps and flight plan were totally missing. I flew the flight manually and followed the directions in the NavLog. I missed some waypoints but made the landing to complete the leg.
I will try your new updated version and see how it goes. I appreciate the help and your concern to present a fun bush trip.

I'd like to rate this bush trip but I am finding difficulty with flying the second leg of the trip. My MSFS2020 does a CTD when I try to load in the 2nd leg of the flight. It only happens when I load this bush trip. I have flown other bush trips after the CTD recovery and they are fine. But if I load in the 2nd leg of this bush trip I get a CTD every time. Someone needs to check this out. I really hope it is not a bug as the first leg of the trip was a blast to fly!

Sorry to hear about that. I have flown the first two legs again (without ATC) and noticed on taking off from Heathrow the sim started stuttering and jerking. I was barely able to control the plane but did land it again at Heathrow. It did settle down a little after restarting the flight but suspect that the location is causing problems. I will investigate further, maybe take out Heathrow altogether.
