In version 1.0.4 of the DHC-6 Twin otter, Aerosoft added a mapping of the internal BVars to LVars by itself. Since this version you are able to control various airplane settins using Lorby's Axis And Ohs in a much easyer way. Befor this you had to map the B-Vars to L-Vars by your own, e.g. by using DHC-6 Twin Otter Bvar mappings for Lorby's Axis and Ohs by horstunger.
My addon is a collection of scripts using the new LVars by Aerosoft to control the airplane. The disadvantage is, that the LVars can't be read. You can't get the state of a switch using my scripts or using the LVars. If you need this, head over to horstungers Addon. Nevertheless there are various internal flight simulator variables reflecting the DHC-6 state. Rely on these if you need to illumiate any external hardware.
The scripts only reflect the possibilities provided by the LVars. E.g. you can toggle the state of both generators at once. But there is no possibility to do so for a single generator. Where possible i added a toggle. For other signals i added scripts to set the various states, e.g. for the DC source: off, external, on.
To use the scripts just disconnect AAO from the Simulator. Select "Scripting | Import Scripts". Open the unzipped xml file from the download. This will add a group "DHC6-TwinO" to your scripts. Use them for button mappings or voice recognition as you need for your hardware.
