This is a workbook that helps pilots of the C152 plan their trips. It was made using data from a 1979 POH of the real aircraft.
Usage:
- in column B enter the required data of the flight
- there is no need to enter all data but only for segments you want info about
- for example if I'm doing pattern work at an airport, there is no need to enter the cruise data as I only care if I can take off and land back at the airport
- there is no need to enter all data but only for segments you want info about
- the takeoff weight has no bearing on the results because the POH only had data for a full aircraft (1670 lbs), but it's just a reminder for the pilot
- the block fuel needed is computed and displayed at cell C5, in the TAKEOFF PARAMETERS
- values that are outside of safety ranges will turn red to warn the pilot of this
- there is a 200 ft safety margin for the takeoff and landing distance, and a 500-ft safety margin for both 50-ft obstacle distances
- the fuel safety is based on the 24.5 gallons of usable fuel value
- the ToD calculator in the DECENT PARAMETERS is based on a -1000 ft/min descent to standard pattern altitude (1000 ft AGL)
!!!NOT INTENDED FOR REAL LIFE FLIGHTS!!!
