This is an update to Old Sarum Airfield in Wiltshire.
Using stock scenery items I've tried to liven up the airfield with
- A selection of aircraft
- Cars in car parks
- A representation of a control tower
- picnic tables outside the skydive building
- Replacing some of the autogen buildings with closer approximations.
- A couple of windsocks
As ever, open to suggestions for any additional items.
V1.3 - Renames the ModelLib.bgl and updates layout.json
Windsocks point the opposite direction to the wind???

Definitely an improvement!
I wonder if it would be possible to add concrete aprons where their existence is indicated (i.e. the mottled gray areas from the satellite imagery) - I think that would go a long way to making this airfield look better. There's also a circular concrete helipad.
Also, there are two old WW1 hangars with some interesting architecture that can be seen when doing a Google search for Old Sarum Airfield.
Outside one of the WW1 hangars is parked a Hawker Hunter, a Jet Provost, and the nose and a section of the fuselage of a Comet (Google Earth has the airfield in 3D so you can shift-drag on the image to get all perspectives) - this is part of the Boscombe Down Aviation Collection - it might be nice to add those details.
And I think it's always nice to add the human element. There's "Dark Revolution Brewery" just north of the Boscombe Down Aviation Collection hangars - it has seating outside, so a few folks having a couple of beers would add a lot, I think.

Hi Flyboy. I do not have Salisbury cathedral. I wonder if you could supply. Or do you know if it has been done.Very nice Old Sarum airfield.
Cheers Eric.

Hi Eric,
Salisbury Cathedral was included in the World Update 3 (UK) from Asobo. Have you got this installed?

Could do with some background sounds at the airfield though. Some bird song, a wood pigeons, a dog barking every now and then.
The dead silence is rather incongruous.

In reality Old Sarum has been closed, but the museum lives on and I understand is well worth a visit (in real life).
Please note that you have EGLS-modelLib.bgl in your global scenery folder, but the reference withing your layout.json file is just modelLib.bgl.
