New Race

This time an AirRace in Spielberg, Austria, LOXZ. It is a ‘RedBull type’, but I have no affiliation with RedBull.

As usual extract the folder into your Community folder.

Use your Extra 330 plane and go to LOXZ airport, Runway for instance 8R. You find the race just north east of the airport. You start by passing through the two pylon cones with checkers. Look at the picture to see the course (sorry low res), read the text version below or see the videos below from the real deal.

At two pylons you should have the wings horizontal.
At one pylon you should have the wings vertical.
You are flying ~15 meters above the ground.

TEXT for the track, but may be easier to see the videos below.
This race starts and ends with checkers pylons. Pass horizontal.
Next is two red/white pylons. Pass horizontal.
Turn left and pass (on right) the single pylon vertical.
Quickly roll to the other side and pass (on left) vertically.
The same on the third single pylon (on right).
Then two pylons where you pass horizontal. Start going up and bank sharp left to turn around 180 degrees
and dive back and turn right to pass the next two double pylons horizontal.
Pass through the checkers pylons.
Again start going up and bank sharp left to turn around 180 degrees and dive back and turn right
to pass the red/white double pylons.
Complete the second round and you are in goal at the checkers.

It can be tricky so practice.

As many with me, I have noticed the Extra 330 is not as responsive as one would like for this type of race. Just see the videos above and you see you are not able to roll as quickly, but with practice you can have great fun. They roll at 420 degrees a second.

Here is one modification from PaulFalke that may help you improve the Extra 330 https://flightsim.to/file/2767/extra-330lt-x

Have Fun!
