About this mod:
This is my first mod for MSFS so there may be bugs etc. I made this mod originally for myself as I like this airfield but I found the default buildings and taxiways too generic. As the result turned out not too bad, maybe some of you will enjoy it as well.
Please do not upload this mod on any other site.
Installation:
Just open the zip file and drag-&-drop the content into your MSFS Community folder.
About the actual airfield:
The airfield EDMJ Jesenwang is located a few NM West of Munich, Germany. The Alps are south of the airfield about half an hour flight. A few General Aviation flight schools and charter companies are based here.
There are 3 interesting aspects to EDMJ:
- a short runway of only 408m
- trees in extension of runway 25
- street before the threshold of runway 07
Details regarding the traffic pattern:
The field elevation is 1861ft MSL. There is only one traffic pattern south of the strip at 2500ft MSL (no northern traffic pattern). The traffic pattern goes around the small town of Jesenwang. Downwind leg above the edge of the forest, almost parallel to the power lines. Entry into the traffic pattern is recommended from the south into the south-west corner of the traffic pattern (right above the forest clearing).

I am also a former student of Elvira Walch. Who learns to land in EDMJ will find the USA airports to be a bit short but WIDE! I am also a student of Mr. Schra, the best teacher on earth for radio communication. What I also was confronted with was that the landing being taught in Jesenwang differs strongly from the way pilots in the USA do it. My checkout pilot at a small airport north of Phoenix, AZ, was surproised to see that even landing this way the touchdown was perfect.

Maybe for the next updates you could consider changing the tower window texture, and a better blend in of the textures in general.
