I tried to follow your instructions to add another plane but ended up deleting all my airplane add-ons in the process, obviously because of a mistake on my part.

Would there be a way to make a simple and very clear set of instructions to add new software such as (for example) the new remote CJ4 FMC released today on GitHub: https://github.com/dementedmonkey/cj4-mcdu/releases/tag/v0.1.0. That would be really great! Again thank you for your help.

Heya! Love this very much. I gotta ask though. Is there any chance for the dev/experimental versions of the planes currently on there? I know 787, 747, and A320 all have more up-to-date versions on github, but I have no idea how I'd manually add one of them to download through the downloader.

Now this is working again for me!

In case somebody has the same problem, I want to describe it:

I started using MSFS Community Downloader with the setting that all the aircraft mods shall be downloaded in the same folder (named 'Community Folder path'). As I use AddonLinker I wanted to have a folder structure, so I used the settings 'set custom installation folder'. This worked so far.

Now that I had assigned all packages to specific subfolders, I did not need the general folder anymore and deleted it. It seems that this was the reason for the problem that from now on the updates/downloads did not start.

Today I created the general folder again and it is used temporarily during download. Later it is empty again.

-> can you add the information in the description that even if you assign all packages to 'custom specific folders', the 'Community Folder Path' must exist?

Great mod, run it everyday! Although, i just noticed the TBM has been updated to 0.6.1 (over 24hrs ago) and the downloader still has 0.6.0beta, unless im reading Github wrong?

this app is so useful and saves a lot of time. looking forward to the new option in which you can add your any mod you like (thats what i read somewhere). in the meantime, would be great if you could add the following mods:

Hey, any chance we can get this project added, as the MixMugz tbm mod is broken (lights dont work, starter jammed on, yoke pulls out dash etc), and according to github he's no longer servicing it, yet this project works perfectly with same features !! https://github.com/luka97/msfs_tbm930_project

It seems MixMugz took the fix, it might come in a future update. 🙂

Hi, is there a new version on it's way, as some of the mods are not auto updating. I'm having to go to Github direct for latest versions.. i.e. TBM and Bonanza

I have problems with setting an individual custom installation folder for each package. The downloader will not find them. I use an individual folder MyCommunity with subfolders and the Addon Linker application to create the links for the MSFS Community folder. Any idea?

Unfortunately, I am having issues with this as it wont refresh github at the moment. I prefer the manual downloading vs the windsailor. This app is essential to this sim!

Is the addon compatible with sim update 8?

This is not an addon but an external tool that downloads addons for you (addons are not my work and from various teams).

The tool will always be compatible with the sim whatever version it is.

The various addons provided might or might not be compatible, you'll have to check for each addon/team (link to their page/github is provided).

I have downloaded this addon but I haven't installed it yet. Question, does this work with the Addon Linker?

It has a linker compatibility: just set the install folder to the one you'd like, or there is also a "per package" install folder settings available.

1.2.2 doesn't work for me on Windows 11...when I click the executable it says "Installing..." and the progress bar completes, but the application never runs.

On 1.2.1, the "Installing.." happens every time..but it actually ran the app after. Any idea?

Is it installed in the "Add or remove application" panel after installing it?

Can you try to uninstall all previous version, reboot and try reinstalling the last version?
