Repaint of the famous 1941 Boeing IB75A Stearman owned by Jane Wicker Airshow - Registration N450JW. In tribute to veteran wing walker, Jane Wicker, and her pilot, Charlie Schwenker, who both perished during a performance at the Dayton Air Show on June 22, 2013.
It's been almost 8 years since the loss of Jane Wicker and her pilot Charlie. Their performances live only in video now. They are greatly missed.
Extract the main file and paste it into your community folder. Should be ready for all the stunts you can think of.
Purchase of the DC Designs Stearman Aircraft is required for this livery to appear. It can be purchased here: DC Designs Stearman
Created with the use of the included "Comprehensive Paint Kit." The word "Basic" should be substituted for "Comprehensive" IMHO. Just something to be aware of if you wanted to create your own repaint.
Update November 26, 2021: After SU7 it appears engine textures are missing. This update will correct the missing textures. It is compatible with SU7.
Update November 26, 2021: This update also includes a second file with textures for the "Flaired" version of the Stearman. This has been tested and works seamlessly with SU7. This is the plane Jane Wicker performed with. Or, as close as I could get it.
Open the main file titles "DCDesigns_Stearman_Jane_Wicker_Air_Show". Inside you will find the two separate files for each version of the plane. Drop those files into your Community folder. You'll be flying inverted and walking out on the lower wing within minutes. Safety first! Keep your strap on.
As always, please enjoy flying her. I create liveries from my heart, my dreams and my passion for flight. And often from other peoples dreams.
I never ask for payment for any of my paints. However, I never turn down an offer either. If you really enjoy my work, please consider buying me a coffee or making a donation. It would be grately appreciated.
Looks GREAT and a moving tribute! A fantastic addition for the high performance version of the Stearman.

Hi. Great livery. Thanks for honoring Jane Wicker and her pilot.
Now that DC has updated the Stearman with fairings for the wheels and an engine cowling, are you planning an update as well?

You have done a nice job on this. Your Waco rendition was beautiful and is my favourite livery for that plane. It is approporiate and a delight that you have done the Stearman as well. Thank you.

Thanks for this hommage to Jane Wicker and her pilot. I didn't know about her, and thanks to your repaints I've gained respect to their memory. Must have been horrifying to watch their crash, and I know what I'm talking about, since I personally witnessed Mark Hanna's fatal crash on a Messerschmitt Bf109 in Sabadell, near Barcelona, in 1999. Mark was a renowned vintage aircraft specialist and, as such, had collaborated in many movies (Saving Private Ryan, to name one). My respect to all of them.

I have mixed emotions downloading this as I was actually at the air show when they crashed. Glad to see this paint but it makes me sad at the same time.
