*** REQUIRES JAVA RUNTIME ENVIRONMENT VERSION 8 OR NEWER ***
The tool generates all the directories and files needed, including default single color images, to compile a bush mission, landing challenge or discovery flight. Supply your own Bing Maps or Goole Maps API key and you will get nicer images! The input file is a single text or XLSX file containing waypoint names, coordinates, generic mission data, nav log texts, etc. It can be generated by the tool from an existing flight plan (PLN file exported from Little Navmap) or from a sample file. Waypoints can also be read from a Little Navmap file (.LNMPLN) where navlog texts are present in the comments. There are many options to use to trigger failures, warnings, play WAV files or TTS and much more. Now even airport/runway creation is included! See the manual for information about how to use BMG and all its possibilites.
Please contribute by sending bug reports and feature requests. BMG is totally free to use and no registration is necessary! But if you want to donate money, buy me a couple of beers or even give me a copy of your creation would be highly appreciated and motivating. Especially if you create successful payware. Look for the PayPal link or use a Revolut transfer (revolut.me/f99mlu).

This doesn't work, as when I click on compile, it still asks me to select one of the planes? 😞

Why does my bush trip end up in user content instead of the list of actual bush missions? Am I even able to have it in the list of bush missions without requiring to sell it on a marketplace?

Welcome to Spain, the country of blabla...

Hi peg! I think I need to see your BushMissionGen input file (text file) with all your info. Would it be possible to send it to me in a private message here on flightsim.to? BR, f99mlu

Hi there. Just a quick question - is the .loc file in the source localization folder meant to compile into the final mission and be present in the missions folder, or is it only for reference by the compiler? All of my newer bush trips have no .loc file present (but they work OK anyway). I have 1 user who can't see the latest version of my bush trips and was wondering if that might cause an issue.
6 months ago
Hi gamer! Thanks for your post. Well.. the .loc file should be in the localization folder nowadays and not where the FLT/XML/weather files are present when you have generated the files. Then when you compile you should get .locPak files in the "root" folder where manifest.json and layout.json are. And a .loc file next to the FLT/SPB/PLN/weather.

I'm having a problem getting a WAV files to play to the end. Using the dialogEntry field name, the WAV file will begin as expected, but after getting into the audio a bit it simply stops. Any ideas?
6 months ago
Hi again Dave! I hope you saw my answer to your PM about the plane name. Regarding your WAV issues, I just cannot understand how that can happen. There is nothing in the generated files which states the duration of the WAV to be played. So it should played until the end. Maybe I ask how many seconds the sound IS playing.. and how many seconds the WAV really is? BR, f99

I'm sure this is a good tool, if you are very familiar with Java. If you don't speak Java, like me, it will likely be very frustrating.

Great tool! How do I get the BMG to show taxi ribbon. I have included command in the "all" and enableTaxiRibbon, but still the ribbon fails to show up. Is this an issue with MSFS?
Again. Thanks for the great work!

Hi f99mlu. I'm already getting pretty familiar with your awesome tool and my glider landing challenge is progressing steadily. However, I do have a few questions and am bold enough to ask 4 at once.
1: Is it true that the leader board does not work after the challenge has been assessed?
2: I am trying to use the function "multi-plane project" and have entered plane=AS-33me|-LS4 for the parameter. However, only a challenge is created for the AS-33me. How should I deal with this?
3: Is it possible to move the landing area (blue square symbol) to another place on the runway? I've been experimenting with the coordinates of the last line but that doesn't seem to work.
4: Can I place multiple photos at the briefing. Like a Bush trip?
I hope you don't mind me asking 4 questions right away.....
Thank you very much.

Finally I have BushMissionGen working! Thank you for your support.
I followed the instructions of the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Jz66u-KNq8&t=316s and after "Generate" I get the error message:
The fields
latitude=
longtitude=
altitude=
should be set to the same values as you first waypoint (CUST0) to avoid any issues and error messages in the sim.
I filled in the last lines as follows (just like in the video):
#icao rw name type LL alt
||CUST0|U|N52° 28' 20.37",E6° 18' 2.32"|+000411.05
||CUST1|U|N52° 28' 20.37",E6° 18' 2.32"|+000411.05
||CUST2|U|N52° 28' 21.12",E6° 20' 55.66"|+000303.76
||CUST3|U|N52° 28' 3.76",E6° 20' 56.44"|+000208.23
EHDS|27|EHDS|A|N52° 28' 4.53",E6° 19' 58.21"|+000013.00
After compile I get the same error again.
After completing the procedure, all files will be present just like in the video.
Unfortunately, my Landing Challenge is not visible in the sim.....
Where can it go wrong in my method?
Thnx, Fer

Hi, here's my input file, which compiles, but gives an error in MSFS2020 when loading it:
The error is:

When I edited the line
location=S5°16'6.55",E142°5'48.27"
to
location=-5.267888,142.094378, the problem was solved.
