DRF Luftrettung - Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden

Aerosoft did release their version of the airport Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden (EDSB), also known as Baden AirPark, recently.

In general it's a nice scenery. They obviously also added all the buildings of the DRF Luftrettung. However they didn't seem to focus on helicopters too much.

No static helicopters are parked at the DRF base, and also at other places on the airport such as Motorflug Baden-Baden static helicopters are missing entirely by default. One would think they'd put more detail work into this since these are major places for helicopters but yet here we are.

If you know me, you know that I'm a helicopter nerd. It probably doesn't seem surprising at all that I stepped in to make a playground for us helo people.

So what can you expect by this mod?

Well, first of all my focus was on make it enjoyable for helicopter pilots. 

You got several different places to spawn from.

2 runway starts ("Runway 01" and "Runway 19" on the map) at the DRF site for engines already running, as well as multiple spots to start from "cold-and-dark". They are marked as "135", "145" (both at the DRF main base).

"43" (Christoph 43 on the heli dolly north of the others) and "110" (Base of the Baden-Wurttemberg police helicopters further up north). Spot "43" is optimised for the HPG H135 because it's a 135 in real life. The H145 will tip over in front of the dolly!

Spot "110" is optimised for the H145 but the H135 should also work here. 

Fictional ICAO-Code is CHX43.

As you can see on the pictures I also added several static aircraft. So you will see (or not) H135 and H145 at the DRF base, as well as some other helicopters at Motorflug Baden-Baden and a H145 at the police base. The H135 being freeware shouldn't be a big deal for you. However you will only see the H145 static helos, if you got the HPG H145 as well as the action pack! I wanted to make a little workaround and make use of the DRF liveries for the CIV_Variant of the H145 so people that don't got the action pack will see static H145 as well, but if you have the liveries for the civilian version, they will disappear and become unusable when using the HEMS variant. So if you don't got the action pack (and the H145 for that matter) you WILL NOT see 2 H145 parked at DRF as well as 1 H145 at the police site. However I kinda made sure that you still have some enjoyment, so you will at least find some H135 parked there - and the R44 of the DRF Flight Academy.

Known bugs: The rotors of the static aircraft in which are you currently flying will spin on ground.

Installation:

Open the downloaded file and place the "chrispiaviation_drf_edsb" inside the community folder. Obviously the additional files need to be inside of the community folder as well.
