NC Hospitals Helipad Pack
I have added and fixed most of the helipads in NC, some VA and SC. I have added helipads, added lighting to most but not all, and some other objects like fences and windsocks. This is sort of a base pack for the my google 3d hospitals that i will be uploading. If you see a hospital in NC, SC, VA that i have not done let me know and i can work on adding it. If you see any issues report it in the comments. I think i have it so all show up in the map.
---------For this pack to work correctly the following libraries are required---------

I'm lovinggg all the heli scenery. Really been enjoying the H145 Action Pack and the ability to create scene calls and hospital transfers while loaded into the sim. Hope we can get a program like that that will work with the many other helicopters we are getting in the sim.... Would you ever be willing to venture up to PA for some hospital scenery?? Particularly central PA area like Harrisburg, Carlisle, York, Lancaster, maybe even State College?

Love this as I live in Winston-Salem and have a house in Jefferson (Ashe County, NC). Having a hard time flying from one hospital to another (small hospital e.g. Ashe County to larger medical center e.g. Wake Forest Baptist). Seems I can only fly from hospital to airport and vice-versa. Am I doing something incorrectly?

I'm not sure what you mean. Can you explain further

Hi Mcrabtree,
Out of curiosity, when you finish NC will you be combining all the locations into one zip (but leaving them separated so we can choose from them)?
This pack will not be separated just the 3D Google ones will be separate. Hopefully that answers your question

Thank you for creating this scenery. The next information is not a criticism but simply advice:
Update the name of the modellib.BGL file in all of the scenery files to reflect MS/Asobo guidelines (Oct. 2020) to give it a unique name. An easy way to do this: adding the 'ICAO code' for airports to the file: Example (ICAO-modellib.BGL) or in this case, maybe nc-hospital-modelLib.BGL, and then update the layout.json file to reflect the new name. Always give each modelLib file a unique name.
The Problem: MSFS only reads the first file in the Community folder named modellib.BGL and then uses that file for all others with the same name. Renaming it avoids conflicts with any other scenery in the Community folder and gives your scenery the proper appearance with fewer problems/conflicts with other files in the Community folder.
The same is true for the 'mycompany' & 'mymaterials' folders if you ever use those, as well as (textures) 'MaterialLibs\textures\' or 'MaterialLibs\mymaterials\textures\' if that ever applies to your scenery.
Just remember to update the layout.json file so the entries match the folder or file names.
Read about the issue 'modellib.BGL' for developers at: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/scenery-creators-please-move-or-rename-your-modellib-bgl/307563

I’m new to this and I guess I don’t really know how to do that. I haven’t had any issues on my system.
