The Cabo Verde Archipelago
This series of 3 bush trips will take us on a tour of the Cabo Verde Archipelago. The bush trips start from the southern islands, then flying north to the northern islands.
Cape Verde or Cabo Verde, officially the Republic of Cabo Verde, is an archipelago and island country in the central Atlantic Ocean, consisting of ten volcanic islands with a combined land area of about 4,033 square kilometres (1,557 sq mi). These islands lie between 600 and 850 kilometres (320 and 460 nautical miles) west of Cap-Vert, the westernmost point of continental Africa. The Cape Verde islands form part of the Macaronesia ecoregion, along with the Azores, the Canary Islands, Madeira, and the Savage Isles.
The archipelago is a horseshoe-shaped cluster of ten islands (nine inhabited) and eight islets, that constitute an area of 4033 km2 (1557 sq mi).
The main goal of the trips is sight seeing. The airplane is the Cessna 208B Grand Caravan EX with assistance settings set to easy (some of these can be changed). There are also icons that show the way to get to the waypoints and final destination.
Seven languages are included : English, French, German, Dutch, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish. The translations were made with google translate and are not linguistically corrected. They are to be taken for what they are.
Flightbooks (pdf) only in English language are included separately.
