The Wester-Schouwen or Westerlichttoren is a well-known lighthouse in Burgh-Haamstede. The tower was designed by Leendert Valk and built between 1837 and 1840. With its 50 meters height (above ground level) and a light height of 58 meters above sea level, the tower is one of the highest lighthouses in the Netherlands.
