Spitfire HF. MK. IXe of the Danish Air Force, 41-421, as it looked around 1949.
The danish Spitfires got the nickname "Arrigtroldene" ("angry trolls"), so many of the aircraft got the Danish comic troll "Trolden Teddy" as nose art. This particular one had "Anders And som Admiral" ("Admiral Donald Duck") on the nose as well, probably from a brief period in the Danish Navy Flying Corps.
It was delivered on 28. October 1948, and was withdrawn from service 1. September 1952.
