Just got this and does not work. When going into a flight the main screen comes up showing all the settings you can do but when the flight starts and in the cockpit the screen reverts to Start a Flight
Josephm700
I saw the price $13.64 at the main page, but when I clicked in, it became 20.99 every single time. Can someone explain ?

I can't resize the app UI? Seem like other people also having the same problem and is been a while you guys still haven't fix it yet?
DestructZero
When I start FSRealistic after updating to the new SU9 Beta, I get "Connection successful! Please start a flight..." although my plane is sitting on the runway. No sound is being produced. On my 3rd flight, the app worked for five seconds or so then quit.

It's similar for me - sometimes it works, then it doesn't, and it changes every minute.......
But I'm afraid that the creators don't really care, or has anyone here ever received an answer from the creators when there are problems? 😉
DestructZero 4 month(s) ago
They have been notoriously slow to respond (or have not responded at all) here or on their own website forums, but for this specific problem, they did create a patch which works. You can go to their website at www.fsrealistic.com to get it. I've nailed them when they ignore their users, but I have to give them credit when they actually listen.

Thank you for pointing that out, unfortunately I overlooked it. But it doesn't help much, because my F-Secure screams when I try to open this exe like it hasn't for a long time..... and if F-Secure does that, then something is very wrong. 😉
DestructZero 4 month(s) ago
My AV did that too, and I scanned it independently after I downloaded it (I assumed it was a false positive). It came out clean, so I went ahead and installed it. I understand your reluctance though.
DestructZero
How about solving the problem of not being able to move the program from the main screen to a second screen? The app window becomes too small and cannot be resized. There are several entries about this on your forum.

very, very good

Bee using it for 2 flight now, love it so far!😀

I've been using this for a few days now and I am generally impressed with its seamless nature. I like things that work in the background, ad this adds a level of realism without being intrusive. Still, there have been several instances where sounds have been wrong and out of place. They were relatively easy to correct, just adjusting the settings to choose a better fitting option or turn the Noise off completely. However, the sounds were so glaringly wrong, I am a bit surprised they were ever set that way. The worst offenders being the sound of a turning prop wheN you are starting up a helicopter. Also, the sounds produced by your copilot in a fighter aircraft are very different from those you'd expect in a little GA single engine or an airliner, yet they are all the same. Getting out of place sounds makes me wish there was a clearer way of the program showing which sounds are being added versus being replaced. Just like you can sound test your various options for certain sounds, you should be able to hear the default sound the program is replacing as well. Your sounds are generally superior, but not always. I think it's important to add an easier way of letting the user decide.

Well said. Along with what your saying, ideally the default sounds set to, for example, a fighter jet should be fairly accurate to what you'd expect. Not having ever been in a fighter jet, I wouldn't know what that sounds like. What should the copilot sound like in the fighter jet as compared to a passenger in a C152? I have a pretty good idea about the C152 having flown this IRL. If the developer is not advertising that any research went into the default settings, is there a way to get as accurate as possible besides listening to a bunch of YouTubes, which I don't still think would give you what the pilot hears within his helmet? Is it possible to get sound file downloads to this website just as we do liveries? I know you can download other shared uploads, but there's no description or review ratings to assure these are accurate sounds. It would especially be cool to have real life fighter pilot reviews to validate accuracy. I don't mean to sound like I'm dissing the developer. In part to answer my question... When I download a fighter jet from JustFlight, should I assume the default sounds have been researched, therefore I shouldn't even use FS Realistic?
DaveSchuette
i'm enjoying the product, so thank you! My question is...to get the most realism, was there any research in developing the default profiles? For example, are the default sounds for the Asobo F18 fairly accurate for what you might here in a fighter jet? I can only imagine what a fighter jet would sound like inside the pilot's helmet. I don't imagine you would hear the tire bark at touch down, would you? I have experience as a PPL with GA, so I have a pretty good idea of what those should sound like for the ones I've flown.

I like the mod and have also bought it - there are only two things that bother me 😊
1. I have no problems with the FPS in MSFS, but sometimes I would like to control the FPS with "ALT-R" (Nvidia). Unfortunately FSRealistic deactivates the display and it always shows me only 0. Is there anything I can do about it?
The fact that it comes from FSRealistic is proven by the fact that when I start MSFS and activate the FPS display, everything is displayed normally. As soon as I hear the announcement in the background: "FSRealistic activated", the FPS display goes to "0"!
2. It is not very nice in my eyes that during a long flight a sound is suddenly played with a loud cough or sneeze. Where can I turn this off without turning off other sounds?

I'm going to ignore all the comments from "FSRealistic" - I think that was a silly little boy 😉.
back to the mod - I found point 2. and deactivated it - sometimes you can't see the forest for the trees 😊
but it would be cool if there was something to point 1.........

Bought it like a month ago. Love the realism it brings

Hi Captain, many thanks for the kind review. We will add this request to our wishlist.
Teneus
Hey, been using this addon for 3 weeks now and add a lot of life in the sim, thanks !
The only regret I have is that if you use the headset simulation from MS2020 in the audio menu, there's no way to do so in FSRealastic (with is very simple to do in a dev perspective actually , and will make the audio from the mod PERFECT)

Hi Captain, great suggestion - will add now to our wish list.

Hi! There seem to be a newer version of the app. How do I get an update to ver 1.0.5? I purchased the app from simMarket. Thank You.
rkApps 8 month(s) ago
Hi Captain, latest version can be always downloaded from FSRealistic.com
