    Description

    Cork International Airport (EICK) is the second-largest of the three principal international airports in the Republic of Ireland, after Dublin and ahead of Shannon. It is located 6.5 km south of Cork city centre in an area known as Farmers Cross. In 2018, Cork Airport handled 2,392,821 passengers, a 3.7% annual increase. Cork is the state's second-busiest airport in terms of passenger numbers, after Dublin, and third busiest on the island of Ireland, after Dublin and Belfast International.

    This is my home airport so I'm excited to show you guys what I've done so far. It's very early days and sadly the photogrammetry in Cork doesn't reach the airport so I had to use generic models until I can find a better 3d model for the terminal. 

    The airport features 4k upgraded Aerial textures, Correct taxiways and runways, Correct parking locations including AFTA GA apron, Removed erroneously large buildings in the adjacent business park, correct com frequencies and a few other features.

    I plan on releasing some scenery packs for Cork City and County in the future with photogrammetry and upgraded aerial textures so stay tuned!

    Hi there,
    I love the airport however I'm afraid that as of today, I only get CTD when trying to load up at EICK.
    After much troubleshooting I have identified this mod as the source of the CTD as it does not occur on the same controls at other community mod airports.
    I just wanted to feed this back as a development opportunity and not a criticism of your work. Do let me know if you would like further details :)

    nice job!

    only issue is the terrain level. nose gear on parking is dug into the ground. looks like there is a bit to much of a slope.

    The airport looks fine, however, i suggest you to do not use buildings already used in other handcrafted Asobo airports. For the main terminal you've chosen a building already used in Sydney Intl. Airport. In essence, if a user wish to do not keep the Sydney airport scenery installed, he won't be able to see all the relative buildings of Sydney anymore; of course, the same goes for your terminal. Please make a notice in the description next time. REVIEW UPDATE: confirmed the impossibility to start a pushback, this cause the sim to crash, happens everytime.

    I downloaded this and it doesn't seem to work... just the default airport is loaded. I have downloaded other airport addons such as Gatwick and I have had no problems there. Does anyone else have this problem also or is it just me, or should I be doing something differently?

    You have to copy the two folders called "aesoft-a-eick" and "raesoft-eick" inside the community folder; if you copy only the first main folder the mod won't work.

    Thank you so much. I just tried it there and it worked. Cork is my home airport and it's great seeing it in this way, compared to how it looks in the out-of-the-box version. Thanks a million.

    I'm happy you're enjoying it. For me i can't see the main terminal at all. Since i deleted several Asobo handcrafted and unused airports from the content manager, i think i've also deleted the relative Terminal building used for that airport.

    yea I never deleted any contents that came with msfs, even though i was tempted to in order to free up space. I only added stuff.

    This is my home airport but no working ILS and no working PAPI lights are not more worth than one star.

    I've done an ILS approach via Runway 16 today and everything was fine for me.

    The ILS isn't working properly right now its a problem with the default navigation data from MS. I've kinda been MIA because I'm busy with college exams but hopefully I'll get around to updating the mod when they're over!
