    Description

    UPDATE
This trip needs superspud's Barra scenery installed or you will not be able to land there and complete the leg
    https://flightsim.to/file/591/egpr-barra-airport

You should also install the following as well (optional)
    https://flightsim.to/file/138/strathaven-airfield

This bush trip covers one of my favourite routes north from Glasgow to Inverness. I've travelled it many times by road but this now makes it possible by air.

Visit Loch Lomond, Glencoe and Loch Ness on the outward journey. On the way back fly over the sea to Skye and the return leg also features a tricky short field landing and a stopover at an airport on a beach!

This is my first attempt at a bush trip so please let me know any comments you have as I plan to do more sightseeing routes across Scotland.

This trip is in the Savage Cub and is almost 6 hours long. It starts with a long leg up to Inverness but the rest of the 10 legs are relatively short.

To install just unpack and add the folder into your community folder.
I hope the weather is good for your trip. It is Scotland after all!

Thank you for making this Bush Trip. I have also enjoyed your Scotland's North Coast 500 road trip by air.
I have one request for your knowledge, one possible correction and one comment I would stress to others who take the trip:
Query - Re-fueling - was I correct in only finding two airports where I could re-fuel? Or was that me not searching hard enough?
Possible correction required- the directions regarding Glen Forsa Airfield say land on rwy 06. I think the rwys are 08/26?
Comment to other trippers - it is not only a good thing to do to include the enhancements for Strathaven, Barra, Glen Forsa and Machrihanish, it is absolutely essential for Barra! Without Superspuds great enhancement landing is impossible! (PS I appreciate this point was made in your exchange with MGrzvld).
Thanks again for making this Bush Trip.

Just completed it. Enjoyed it a lot, reminds me of my trips up to Harris as a kid from England, well the Loch Lomond to Invergarry part does, and then the Skye crossing and up to Sligachan, where we rejoin my old journey. The only feedback is although its great to see Barra on the beach, not sure if it justifies 70 mile of open ocean on the two legs to get to it and then back to Tiree. But very recommended, thanks.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I take on board your feedback about Barra. I put it in at the later stages as it was so unusual, but I've also realised since that it also makes the scenery a necessity.

Hi, I'm enjoying your Scottish Highlands Tour thanks for your work. But I need help. I'm stuck at Barra Airport. As the runways are under water I have to make an "off airport" landing. Taxiing around the tower building doesn't trigger the end of the leg. What's the secret? Does MS2020 actually model the tides and I have to figure when the runways are accessible or what?

Thanks in advance for you advice.
