Will this be compatible with xyz scenery?

Hard to tell. But it can be. My mod is more like autogen expansion, so authors of more local sceneries have to make their mods compatible. Unfortunately, I can't do that. But it's really easy.
The author just needs to add exclusion under his custom object and then you, as a user, need to make sure We Love VFR is higher on the list in the 'Content.xml' file. You'll find that file 2 directories above your community folder. This file tells the sim in which order it should load addons.

Mast/chimney/other object that I know is not there. Can you add it?

Most likely - yes. You can add it by yourself by editing OpenStreetMap. More detailed instructions are available at www.puffinflight.com, or report in on our discord
You can also leave me a comment with coordinates and some more details (if it's a mast or chimney try to find out how tall is it).

Why can’t I see obstacle lights from the distance? / Why there is a visible light but not on top of the antenna?

For now, MSFS SDK for lights is very limited. I can’t create a light that will have a source visible from a distance. On the other hand, I can’t remove those red, clearly visible lights that Asobo has put in place of antennas. As soon as they expand SDK, I’ll fix that.

Why do antennas look fuzzy from the distance?

That’s something in the sim graphics engine, that for now can’t be bypassed. Original sim objects act exactly the same. I try to prevent it a bit with LODs, but it won’t be perfect. Maybe the DX12 will fix it someday.

You said you use FAA data, but that mast is way off.

If you think FAA data is accurate think again. I've seen masts in FAA data that were demolished 10 years ago. I manually reviewed over 4000 objects and plan to do more, but with such an amount of data, it is impossible to check everything. If you have an object that should be corrected just give me coordinates, and what's wrong with it and I'll fix it.

I don't like smoke effects. Can I remove them?

Sure you can. Just download "no effects" version of this add-on,

One question: does smoke move with the actual winddirection of the sim? So, if wind turns into another direction, would smoke also turn according to the actual local wind condition of the actual position?

Thanks for your hard work, impressive mod. I have a small complaint though, Chernobyl NPP in Ukraine has a lot of high pipes when IRL there's only 1 on reactor 4, and Duga radar station, it overlaps with Chernobyl exclusion zone by adding usual antenna towers beside modeled one

Great work. Any chance the antenna that's now awkwardly sticking out through Saint Joseph's Oratory in Montreal can be removed in the next version?

Even more amazing with your cooling towers upgrades. Just as accurate & perfect as the rest of your work. If only you could apply it backwards to a few Hollywood movies made from the 1960's onward. So many movies were set in the 1930s but had nuclear reactor coolers present all over Europe. Well not here in our MSFS, not with your VFR upgrades to guide us. Thanks so much for your continued amazing work.

This is an awesome add-on. It really is nice to see an obstruction on a sectional chart and be able to match it to the real thing out the window during a VFR flight. Your hard work is much appreciated.

Is there a way to remove the mod assets at Pillar Point, CA. They conflict with MP Scenery's Half Moon Bay Airport. Thanks!

I like this! A suggestion. Smoke. That adds a lot to the immersion. Good job at chimneys and such! Hope you can add this to all packs. One thing. When I think about Manhattan for example, I normally see a lot of small smoke stacks coming from the roof tops of different buildings. How about adding that to major cities? In NY it would give that extra tough that really sells the immersion. Just an idea! 😊

I really love your two mods, it's fantastic looking objects and really make the scenery a step further in realism. I read in the docs that each object is placed at the real place but in Quebec city CYQB there is a tall antenna in the middle of downtown as for real I can't see one on the real city pictures.

Amazing job and really made my VFR experience that much better!

Obviously I haven't flown everywhere, but having been a pilot in New England USA, for over 15 years, I have become very familiar with certain different towers and antenna especially the ones within my home state and around my home airport. I was pretty skeptical when I downloaded this, but I was VERY surprised to see not only are all or nearly all of these obstacles included, but are also very accurately placed and representative of the real life obstacles. Especially the transmitters. FSX did this terribly, and never even tried to update the accuracy. This add on is one I HIGHLY recommend for pilots that usually fly low. As a former helicopter pilot and current Ultralight and Super Cub driver, I am ALWAYS down low, and so this added realism is very much appreciated. VERY well done! Night lighting on some isn't perfect, but the rest is superb!
