    Livery request with reward claimed by user and no liveries provided

    I had added a $10.00 reward for one of my livery requests. A user going by PrinceNL claimed my request, taking my reward without ever providing a working livery for the addon. This user only has 6 uploads and all of them have been made in less than 24 hours, leading me to believe that this is not a legitimate painter.

    I downloaded the livery pack, and it's not even the actual livery requested, but just junk!

    So first time I use this system for a repaint request and quite frankly I feel ripped off. I paid out $25 for a request. The guy that accepted it does not communicate and does a half arsed repaint of something of not what I requested -because he failed to read my detailed explanation or lacks an ability to fully understand the English language. So where are the system to work against this happening? Surely if you are paying money for a repaint you should have some control over that process and see if the repaint meets your requirements before it is uploaded and the repainter gets any credit to his/her account . Seems the system is entirely set up to be used by 'rip of merchants' if there is no method to check or balance. I won't be using it again that's for sure. Wasted 25 bucks - a lesson learnt the hard way. There seems to be no comeback to get your money back if not satisfied.

    I agree, I had a similar experience with the post above and it seems as though the website has no sort of livery verification or approval when money is offered. It is a BIG oversight and massively encourages scam behavior. I'm ashamed that for the amount of time this website has been up, they have not cracked down on this or refined the process. Yet they still encourage and push users to buy token and spend money. Your money is safe elsewhere in my opinion.

    100% agree - I don't feel they are legally, adequately protecting users from abuse, but I am not sure in which jurisdiction they reside. I have had a response and will be contacting them in due course. However this system is quite clearly open for abuse, when it could quite easily be set up not to be. Hopefully they will modify things. I will give them time before consulting with my associates that deal in international consumer law :-)

    If a request is not fulfilled properly or does not meet the stated requirements, you can always contact support or report the request directly. Our team reviews these cases individually and, where appropriate, refunds the reward amount.

    While we understand the concerns regarding a mandatory approval system before rewards are released, such systems unfortunately also create significant potential for abuse against creators who completed legitimate work. For this reason, disputes are currently handled through manual review instead.

    Cases like this are fortunately very uncommon. Well over 95% of addon requests are completed without complaints or disputes. . As with any open platform, there can occasionally be bad actors or negative experiences, but these cases are rare overall. We recently introduced the ability to assign requests directly to a specific creator when creating a request.

    In your specific case, the request has been reset to open and has now been accepted by another creator.

    If you have not already done so, please contact support directly so the team can review the creator account involved.
