Bluebird Simulations présente en avant-première le 757 pour MSFS | Actualités

L'équipe de développement de Bluebird Simulations a récemment pris son canal YouTube pour montrer une autre vidéo de leur futur rendu du Boeing 757 pour Microsoft Flight Simulator. Cette fois, l'équipe a présenté le départ de l'Arc DME à partir de Fuerteventura. Le pilote automatique du Bluebird Simulations 757 peut facilement suivre l'itinéraire donné.

La vidéo de six minutes montre notamment le départ de DME Arc. Cependant, nous pouvons obtenir plus d'informations sur ce futur avion à partir de cette vidéo également.

Parlant des sons, il n'y a toujours pas de soundpack personnalisé à l'heure actuelle. Bien que l'avion soit en cours de développement, il semble qu'il puisse déjà faire des choses basiques, importantes pour voler d'un point A à un point B. En ce qui concerne les textures du cockpit, elles sont déjà très détaillées. Cependant, Bluebird a mentionné au début de la vidéo que les textures sont encore en cours de développement. L'équipe n'a pas encore partagé d'autres informations sur cet avion.

This looks very promising! One minor point from one who spent around 7000 hours looking at this display: The TV-like outlines around the glass instruments was not actually there on any version I flew (AA). Small point, and only likely to be noticed by someone who flew the airplane, but probably easy to correct. I am also assuming that the low res of the cockpit is an artifact of the YouTube video and not the cockpit textures themselves.....

For the "TV-like outlines", do you mean how old CRT screens used to be curved because it was acting as a magnifying glass? Just curious for more info on the real thing versus what you saw on the video.

The rotation and lift off felt a little "light", but who knows. Is it typical to engage LNAV and VNAV while still on the ground?

I at least know for the 737 it is. As it is Boeing as well I guess it should behave the same.

I think he's referring to the grey bezel-like outline surrounding the displays.

It's very common. The aircraft will follow TO/GA until 400 feet and then switch over. Makes life easier - no different than arming HDG SEL or some other lateral mode.

Not really sure, but I do it at the 737 also, the Flight Director works with them as much as I know. So the Flight Director only moves when LNav and VNav is engaged.

That is correct, although having gone back and looked at some pictures of the flight deck that I took over the years, they are correct that the CRT's were slightly curved like an old TV set. That is probably what the "outline" we see here is trying to portray. There is no such actual outline in the real thing, but you can see the edge of the CRT just barely, and it does not completely fill the metal frame, so the visual result is not too unlike what they have done here. I can't see a way to upload an image but if I could we would see what we are talking about here. In any case, it is not a big deal.

We never did when I was flying them. However, it would likely not be problematic as long as the A/P was not engaged until its minimum altitude....

I haven't been on here for a few weeks and only yesterday, I was thinking about the Boeing 757 and that it would be a great add on for flight in MSFS. Low and Behold, I see this page as soon as I signed in tonight. Nice one!

The Standby Horizon should be Blue on the upper display, an the standby instruments are normaly in green digits when being displayed. I used to work on the B757 for at least 20 Years
