    À propos de ce projet

The LatinVFR Airbus A380-800 is an upcoming airliner for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. Announced unexpectedly in June 2026, the project marks LatinVFR's entry into the A380 market and expands the developer's growing family of Airbus aircraft. The announcement came via an official trailer, with no prior public teasers or development previews.

At the time of announcement, technical details remain limited. The trailer showcases a complete exterior model, detailed cockpit environments, and multiple airline liveries, while confirming the aircraft is being developed specifically for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.

The aircraft joins LatinVFR's existing Airbus portfolio, which already includes several A319, A320, A321, A330, and A340 variants. As with previous LatinVFR airliner products, the focus is expected to be on providing an accessible long-haul airliner experience while incorporating modern avionics and simulator integration features.

Because the project was only recently revealed, information regarding systems depth, included variants, pricing, and release timing has not yet been formally disclosed. Further development updates are expected in the coming months.

Built for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024

This is a dedicated FS2024 release, not a port. The aircraft has been rebuilt from the ground up to leverage the
simulator's new rendering and simulation capabilities, delivering visual and aerodynamic fidelity that was simply not
    possible before.

Advanced paint & clearcoat rendering The fuselage uses FS2024's native clearcoat system with a paint-flake detail layer and real-time rain response, giving the aircraft a lifelike painted-metal appearance that reacts to light and weather.

Working windshield wipers with rain clearing Rain droplets form on the windshield and clear dynamically under the wiper blades, visible from both the cockpit and external views, at correct slow and fast
    speeds.

Progressive weathering system The aircraft accumulates wear across flights. Brake dust builds on the belly underside, exhaust soot streaks the wings behind each nacelle, hydraulic fluid marks the pylons and flap tracks, and tyre wear darkens the wheels over time. Three independent dirt channels drive this, so each
type of wear evolves at its own pace.

Leading edge erosion Wings, slats, engine inlets and tail surfaces show realistic paint erosion and bare metal -- the hallmark of a hard-working widebody.

Icing & snow accumulation Structural ice builds on the leading edges in icing conditions. Snow settles on the upper surfaces when parked sub-zero and melts naturally as temperatures rise.

Emirates desert dust On UAE variants, fine sand gradually coats the upper fuselage, wings and nacelle tops to reflect real-world desert operations out of Dubai.

Native CFD aerodynamics Real-time computational fluid dynamics model the entire airframe, including all four engine nacelles, for accurate lift, drag and airflow behaviour across the flight envelope.

FS2024 Career Mode compatible Fully certified for Career Mode airline operations, passing all Initialization, Specialization and Equipment checks for scheduled commercial service.

LatinVFR Drops Surprise A380-800 Trailer for MSFS 2024

LatinVFR has announced the Airbus A380-800 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, and the reveal came completely out of nowhere. Without any prior teasing or community hints, a full official trailer landed on the AviationLads YouTube channel, showcasing the world's largest passenger airliner in what appears to be a well-developed state.

The trailer itself covers a good amount of ground. You get exterior walkarounds showing ground equipment details like chocks, engine covers, and pitot tube protectors, followed by cockpit shots featuring a custom EFB and FMS. A selection of liveries including Emirates, Qantas, Qatar Airways, and ANA make appearances, and brief interior glimpses show off the cabin and the iconic twin-deck staircase. Engine sounds, hydraulic audio, and visual effects round out what is a polished first look.

No release date or pricing has been confirmed yet, but based on LatinVFR's usual approach, expect an initial launch through the in-sim Marketplace before wider availability. In the meantime, the trailer is well worth a watch — you can check it out below.
