This document explains the Flightsim.to Creators Program Terms and Conditions in plain English. It is a simplified, creator-friendly overview and does not replace the official terms.
Participation
Participation in the Creators Program is voluntary and not guaranteed. Flightsim.to may modify, suspend, or terminate the program or individual participation at any time. Creators participate as independent contractors, not employees or partners of Flightsim.to.
How You Can Earn
Creators may earn Platform Credit through:
- Eligible mod downloads (when enabled)
- "Donations" made by users via Platform Credit
- Marketplace requests, commissions, or bounties
- Discretionary monthly creator reward distributions
Even if labeled as donations or tips, all payments are legally considered compensation for your work.
Content Ownership & Licensing
You may only monetize content if you own the rights or have explicit permission to use all included assets for commercial purposes. You are fully responsible for licensing compliance and legal validity of your content.
Marketplace Requests
Marketplace requests form a contract exclusively between you and Flightsim.to. Payment is credited once the request has been successfully fulfilled.
Platform Credit & Payouts
Earnings are tracked as Platform Credit. Payouts are available once your balance reaches USD $25 and are processed exclusively via PayPal, once per month. Credits may also be redeemed for store discounts where available.
Payments are held for a period of 31 days to protect against fraud, chargebacks and other issues that may arise. To request a payout, navigate to your Dashboard, and find the section "Creators Program" -> "Request Payout".
Taxes & Verification
Creators are solely responsible for tax compliance. Depending on your jurisdiction, earnings may be subject to income tax, VAT, or other obligations. Flightsim.to may be required to verify your identity and report earnings to authorities where legally mandated.
Content Availability
Content enrolled in the Creators Program must remain available during participation and for at least one month after leaving the program. Exceptions apply for legal issues, incompatibility, or obsolete content.
Abuse & Enforcement
Manipulation, fraud, download inflation, or unauthorized asset usage are strictly prohibited. Violations may result in removal from the program and forfeiture of earnings.
Leaving the Program
You may leave the Creators Program at any time. Flightsim.to may also terminate participation. Balances below the payout threshold are not eligible for cash-out.
