    GSX profile for Drzewiecki Design's EPKT Katowice scenery

    Features:

    • Custom airport handler which will automatically choose the ground handler based on the selected airline (official information about which handler services which airline isn't available so the companies are taken from official information available for Krakow and Warsaw airports), it will also choose vehicle models most similar to those used at the airport irl and ensure the passenger bus companies match the chosen ground handler (requires the Polish Airport buses pack to be installed)
    • Accurate stop positions based on aircraft type
    • De-ice areas at apron 2, stands 70-72 are disabled to avoid conflict with the de-ice ramps
    • Most gates by the terminal have a mixture of walk-in paths and bus boarding/deboarding. The rest are all handled by buses
    • In order to make installation simpler you can use the Drag&Drop Installer by ElevateSolutions

    Always use GSX's "reposition at this gate" feature when starting a flight

    It is recommended to enable the option "Auto-select when single operator" in GSX settings for the best experience

    Great profile overall but you might wanna look into how the stand 70 behaves, I recently wanted to park there but the services werent there, what I mean is that the marshaller and static ground handling vehicles were there but once I parked I didn't have the option to perform deboarding or any kind of services. It was just showing the stand selection menu.

    That's intended. The entirety of Apron 2 is set as de-ice pads, for those to work correctly the stands there have their distance threshold set to 0 meaning GSX will never recognize that an airplane is parked at the gate the stands still exist which is why you can select them. Otherwise there would be conflict between the de-ice pads and the stand itself. I usually offer a separate winter/summer profiles but in this case it's only 3 stands far away from the terminal so I only made a single all-purpose profile. I've updated the profile description now to reflect this

    In fs2020 GSX using the Fenix A320, the "reposition aircraft" indicates that stands 22 and 23 are "Walk-in no bus" but when selected walk is only performed for boarding, deboarding is performed by bus, is this correct?

    Yes, that's how it's supposed to work. Unfortunately that message in GSX is a little misleading since it shows up even when the gate uses a mix of walk-in and bus for different parts of the process
