Premium Auto-Renewal

Your Premium Membership will now automatically renew if you are still eligible for free Premium when your current membership expires. Please note that you must already have an active Premium Membership for automatic renewal to apply. As long as you remain eligible, your Premium Membership will continue to renew automatically.

Creators Program Perks Update

We’ve made Flightsim.to Premium even easier to unlock for Creators Program members:

1. For Creators Program Membres, free Premium eligibility is now reduced to just 1,000 downloads/month — down from 2,000.
2. Every month, Creators Program members can now redeem a 25% store-wide coupon on the Store, on any product of your choice.
3. And since Premium members are also eligible for a 7% store coupon, you now have two ways to save on the Flightsim.to Store.

Updated Creators Program Terms — effective 21 September

We’re updating the Creators Program Terms. The new terms will take effect on 21 September 2026. If you continue to participate in the Creators Program on or after that date, the updated terms will apply to you. If you do not wish to accept them, you may leave the Program at any time by contacting us at creators@flightsim.to.

What’s changing

We’ve updated the terms to make a few things clearer. The most important change is that this version takes commercialization of add-ons out of the Program entirely, a concept that was sometimes misunderstood under the previous version.

Participation in the Creators Program does not transfer or grant Flightsim.to any commercial rights in your add-ons beyond the rights you already grant under our Terms of Service, and that's now stated explicitly in the terms to avoid any misinterpretation. In short, the Creators Program is - and always has been - there to reward you for your engagement and contribution to the community.

What this means in practice

Since commercial arrangements around add-ons are no longer part of the Program, two existing features need to be discontinued:

• Paid Add-on Requests
• Direct Platform Credit Donations

While we understand that many of you appreciated these additional revenue opportunities, both features involve commercial arrangements around add-ons, which no longer fit within the scope of the Program terms.

We are already working to reinstate these and similar opportunities under separate, voluntary agreements. These will require an explicit opt-in from your side, keeping a clear distinction between these additional revenue opportunities and the main purpose of the Creators Program.

In the meantime, Platform Credits that users already hold will remain usable and may continue to be donated or used in the Add-on Requests section until further notice.

Creators can now connect with their followers more directly through Creator Rooms.

Think of Creator Rooms as dedicated channels where creators can share updates, new releases, announcements, previews, and more . New posts appear directly in followers’ Message Center, making it easier to stay up to date without relying on external platforms.

For creators, it’s a new way to build a closer connection with their audience. For followers, it means the latest news from the creators they care about is now just one message away.

Creator Rooms are now available in your Flightsim.to Message Center. Once you follow a creator, their channel will appear there as soon as they publish their first post. To discover posts from creators across Flightsim.to — or to publish updates to your own Creator Room — head over to the Activities page.

We’ve rolled out a few new features and quality-of-life improvements across Flightsim.to!

Dim Seen Addons
You can now dim addons you’ve already seen, making it easier to spot fresh content while browsing. Previously viewed addons will appear slightly grayed out for a cleaner overview. You can enable or disable this anytime in your ➡️ User Settings.

Push Notifications with Pushover
Premium members can now set up push notifications through Pushover and receive Flightsim.to notifications directly on their phone or any other supported device. Configure it from your notification settings and stay updated even when you’re away from the site.

Creator Upload Improvements
Managing media during uploads is now easier: creators can simply drag and drop images and other media to rearrange them instead of using arrows. You can also add a new upload directly to a collection during the upload process, rather than having to do it afterward. In a next update, we will bring collections to your creator profile.

See What You’ve Already Downloaded
Addon tiles now make your library status easier to recognize at a glance. Addons you’ve already downloaded show a green line along the bottom of the tile, while addons with an update available show an orange line.

New Download Success Screen
We’ve refreshed the screen shown after a successful download to put more focus on the people behind the content. It now highlights the creator’s profile and available donation options, making it easier to discover and support creators whose work you enjoy.

📳 Push Notifications

Push Notifications are now live for Premium members. Get instant alerts via Pushover on your smartphone, tablet, or desktop for:

• New addon releases & addon updates
• Devlog updates and releases on Radar
• New messages & comments
• ... and more

Head to Settings → Push Notifications to set up your Pushover user key and pick which notifications you want.

Note: A separate Pushover purchase may be required.

FlightDeck: Creator Analytics Dashboard Now Live

We’ve launched 👉 FlightDeck — a new analytics dashboard designed to give creators a clear, actionable insight into their addon performance. FlightDeck surfaces the data behind your uploads in a structured, easy-to-use interface. With Flight Deck, you have detailed performance insights across your addons, download trends over time to identify growth and a centralized dashboard to track your overall creator performance. FlightDeck is available now and free for all creators.
