    Description

    Virgin Atlantic operated a massive fleet of A340-600 aircraft over the years and I have had the honor of bringing them forward to Microsoft Flight Simulator for the Aerosoft-Toliss A3400-600! All modern/final liveries are represented here as they were at the end of their operational life. This download represents G-VNAP, an A340-600 that was painted in a special thank you livery which was meant to thank the Virgin Atlantic employees for their years of service to the airlines. It's definitely one of my favorites. Enjoy!

    Volanta is picking this up as G-VEIL and it also shows as this when selecting the aircraft in MSFS. Can this be updated?

    Absolutely love this livery , flying it as we speak, my only suggestion is that the "a big thank you" text needs to be thinner than the Virgin Atlantic text other than that 5 out of 5

    Hey I found the fix. I went into each texture folder for the individual liveries and compared the texture.cfg contents with those of other liveries which worked with GSX passengers. Theirs had a list of gsx related texts for the passengers (eg: "fallback.5=..\..\..\GroundVehicles\FSDT_Passengers\texture"), so I copied them into your texture.cfg files and now GSX passengers show up normally. If it wasn't for you mentioning "you will need to edit the texture.cfg in each texture folder to have the new common folder name", I wouldn't have checked, so thanks.

    Actually the reason for the pink GSX passengers is due to how you named the folder. After renaming the folder to "texture.common_AJP_VIR_FLEET_MODERN", the passengers were no longer pink. I have had no issues with other third-party liveries. That said, even after changing the folder name which fixed the pink PAX, the mid-section of the fuselage lost it's textures and became pink lol. Would you be kind enough to change the folder to the standard name and ensure it works seamlessly with GSX? Perhaps the use of someone who has GSX could assist you with this. Aside from the GSX PAX issue, you did a superb job and I'm very happy with your liveries.

    Well, it's a common folder for all the liveries. The problem there being that once you get rid of it the file quadruples or quintuplesin size because every aircraft has to have its own entire texture set at 8K. Unless you think the length of it is an issue, I can't really get rid of the common folder. To further test and fix the pink fuses you will need to edit the texture.cfg in each texture folder to have the new common folder name because it has to properly reference the folder.

    Basically it's a repository to save file space. I couldn't even upload the fleet here in one file if I didn't have that folder.

    hey there. Using GSX Pro the flight attendants and some passengers are missing textures. From the GSX support they are saying this texture is from "a package not using a standard name". Can you check?

    That's a GSX or addon thing, not me as far as I'm aware. I don't provide any GAX configs or files.

    It seems this is caused by the folder name. And, no you don't need to create GSX profiles, this is just a repaint issue. Nevermind, I can fix it on my side. Good livery, thanks.

    Interesting, I don't have GSX so haven't interacted with it in that way but also haven't heard of it. If you find a fix can you let me know? That way I can make sure either an update fixes it or future liveries are compatible?

    What was the fix @theglideslope? Since you mention "folder", I am guessing that the texture folder named "Common_AJP_VIR_FLEET_MODERN" needs to be changed to "texture.common_AJP_VIR_FLEET_MODERN"?

    Mahan, Conviasa, and Lufthansa both old and new are included with the aircraft. All of them were made by me.

    I appreciate the comment, but either myself or someone else will make and release a European Cargo at some point in the future I'm sure. The aircraft isn't even out for 12 hours and there is currently not a preighter interior. So if you are hard pressed for "realistic" or only want to fly current operators then European Cargo still won't be right either.
