    Description

    Requires GSX version 3.8.3 or higher

    This is an updated GSX profile for EDDM by Simwings.

    This profile is based on the excellent version made by SimonTricks ( >>here<< )

    Features:

    ->          All the great features of the old profile (including custom pushback positioning and naming, custom Terminal Walkers and much more)

    ->          Added all missing subpositions (A/B positions) at terminal 1&2 as MARS positions

    ->          Accurate airline assignements

    ->          VDGS placement where it is needed - screen only VDGS

    ->          Custom De-Ice pads

    -> Custom gates with working jetways for A380 [note: for gate 317&318 the stop position is off the parking line, this is the only way to make the jetways work for these positions)

    How to install?

    Simply place the provided .ini file into %appdata%/virtuali/GSX/MSFS

    Thank you for the update! For future releases, please keep the name of the profile files the same as otherwise by just copying over the files we'll end up with two profiles (-v1 and -v2 etc.) that'll cause issues :)

    Thanks for the update. Could it be that the stop positions for the A320 family are a bit too early? Perhaps they could move a little further forward towards the terminal.

    Hello. Nice work with the addon. I've noticed a problem, though, and I don't know if it's my fault or not. I usually start my Fenix A320 at Gate 310, and I've noticed that the refueling underground plug is too far away from the refueling truck, so the ground worker is inserting the hose in a position that's nowhere near the underground plug. Maybe I'm not supposed to park at that gate with an A320, or maybe this can be verified and corrected.

    Yes, this profile includes custom pushback routes onto the yellow/orange/blue lines

    You just need to add ALL positions as MARS subpositions including the parent position, so that is looks like this:

    371

    ->...371B
    ->...371

    Now you can select which position to use.

    Thanks for the work on further updating the profile. The first flight worked perfectly.

    Some profiles include the gate numbers for each group in brackets to allow a quick search for assigned gates. I would appreciate having this feature for EDDM as well. I modified the .py file to display this in the sim. It’s not perfect, as the grouping does not always cover all numbers, but for me it’s sufficient to quickly identify the required group.

    Do you have plans to add all the A/B/X-Positions? That would be so awesome.

    No more parking A320s on widebody positions.

    I am working on adding a few more of the missing positions, especially the larger ones( like 301 & 302). I will only be able to add the missing A/B positions if GSX adds the ability to chose which MARS subposition you want to use, as this is currently chosen by wingspan.

    Simwings EDDM V2 GSX Profile

    This add-on provides an updated GSX profile for Simwings Munich Airport EDDM, compatible with GSX version 3.8.3 or higher. Features include custom vehicle placement, pushback settings, terminal walkers, dedicated VDGS locations, and de-icing pads. The profile adjusts jetway floor heights and stop positions for various aircraft, including support for A380 and other heavy aircraft at specific gates. Updated airline terminal assignments for Terminals 1 and 2 are also included.
