    NoolAero VDGS Remover - Image 1

    Description

    The NoolAero VDGS Remover is used to remove the NoolAero VDGS from scenery. This is helpful if you are using the VDGS from GSX, as otherwise graphical glitches or overlaps with the NoolAero VDGS may occur.

    To use the batch file, copy it to the Community folder and run it from there. If you encounter problems, run the batch file as administrator; this might be necessary if the Community folder is located on drive C:.


    Note for Flight Simulator 2024 users:

    Also run this batch file in the Community2024 folder, as many scenery packages are installed there.

    MK Studios has released an update for KMIA that takes a different approach to handling VDGS files. It is now managed via a dedicated app for the MSFS EFB, which also supports "Multi Jetway" functionality for MK Studios products. This tool can be downloaded from their Discord server. VDGS was not supported in the initial versions of KMIA; as I own the airport myself, I was able to verify this.

    I would like an airport to be added for the removal of NoolAero VDGS. How can I help with this?
    Since I do not personally own every airport scenery released by MK-Studio, I require the following information:

    - The name of the scenery

    The exact name of the scenery folder (e.g., `mkstudios-airport-lebl-barcelona`)


    - Whether the following folders and files are present:

    Config\noolaero-vdgs.cfg`

    Modules\noolaero-vdgs-xxxx.wasm (where xxxx is the airport's ICAO code)

    SimObjects\Landmarks\noolaero VDGS XXXX

    This would help me integrate it into the project! :-)

    FS2024 has two Community folders: "Community" and "Community2024". KFLL (specifically `mkstudios-airport-kfll-fortlauderdale`) is located in the "Community2024" folder; please copy `NoolAero-VDGS-Remover.bat` into the "Community2024" folder and run it from there.

    Love the idea however its not detected LIRF for me. The Landmarks files and WASM files are thgere, but in this case the CONFIG files are not. I still see NOOL VGDS inside the sim, but your tool is not picking it up

    The new LIRF version is in the Community2024 folder; the batch file needs to be copied there and executed.

    Would it be possible to set single airports back to Noolaero-system for testing issues? In my case it could help to solve problems with my EFRO airport from ORBX.
