    [NEW: KBTL] Large Mid-Michigan Airport GA Field Pack - Image 2

    Description

    Being a local of the Mid-Michigan area I decided to begin enhancing the local smaller fields, making GA flying to these fields more authentic and enjoyable. This so far is just something I’ve decided to do for myself but I decided It would be a waste to be the only one to benefit in these areas.

    I would also recommend the EnhancedAirportGraphics addon, as it enhanced many freeware and default airports including mine!

    It’s fairly time-consuming building these so I can’t say when future ones will be added, but I do plan to continue this and expand upon my initial pack.

    To install simply place the files in the community folder into your community folder.

    I’d also be open to requests within the region or feedback, I’m trying to avoid large fields for now but maybe in the future. And if you like my work I would greatly appreciate any donations towards the project, but it’s by no means necessary.

    Really nice but GSX doesn't work anymore with KLAN. Didn't check the other ones but might wanna have a look at the ADE file

    Great work! this really adds immersion to my home area!
    I fly out of KPTK, there is an addon here on .to, but the hush house is completely wrong...

    Anyway, you could add Y47, New Hudson to your small airport list.

    I am a student pilot at KBTL and I feel that the airport needs to be updated because all of the taxiways are either out of date or just created poorly and not created with an official taxi diagram of KBTL. I do a lot of practice on MSFS 2020 due to the fact that they have a cirrus sr22 even though I fly a SR20 they are somewhat close in design features and specs. Seeing this airport updated with WMUs new student pilot training building would be great as well to have at this airport. I have downloaded this product on my PC and tried it and would give it a 3.5 stars mainly to the fact that there is a lack in workmanship on the taxiways of KBTL.

    Enjoying your Michigan airports. I live about 30 minutes south of KOZW and really appreciate having the airport updated. There is one issue, a static jet and a static Cessna parked across/on the taxiway on the north side of the airport. It would be great if on the next update you could move those off the taxiway.

    Glad to see some smaller airports in Michigan being updated! I learned to fly out of Lowell and soloed in Ionia. I also landed a lot in Greenville so I am very happy to see these three airports updated. Thank you so very much!

    As I side note I am working on updating KMOP and 48D-Clare Muni at the moment. I'll release them on Flightsim.to once done.

    Great addition! I learned to fly at OZW so this is really cool. I would LOVE to see a DTW update with your skills. Keep up the great work!

    Thank you - what we could really use are updates of the piers and lighthouses on the shores of Michigan. It's so sad to see the beaches and piers so lacking.

    Hi there! Still loving the pack, but with the recent WU and hotfix, I seem to be getting CTDs with your airports. I'm not currently sure if it's just one, or elements of all of them, maybe just with KBTL(I've loaded in at KAZO, and after a minute or two on the ramp, CTD). It might just be something on my end, but thought it was worth posting in case others have been having similar issues! Looking forward to seeing more of these awesome airports in the Mitten! Thanks so much!

    Thanks for the report! I've noticed some crashes as well on my end after the recent updates, I will have to look into it and see if there's a good way to get that sorted.
