    Description

    GSX Profile – IniBuilds A380

    This is a quick GSX profile created for the IniBuilds A380
    The profile includes basic ground service positions and standard handling to provide a more immersive turnaround experience.

    It was designed as a simple and functional setup to get GSX working smoothly with this aircraft.

    If you notice anything that could be improved, feel free to leave feedback.

    Choose:

    You can choose between two versions.

    1. First with the catering trucks docking at the front and aft door at the main deck
    2. Second with one catering truck dokcing at the upper deck and one at the aft door. (Please be aware, the catering truck is clipping through the wing. This can't be changed due to limitations of the modeling of the catering truck by GSX)

    Installation:
    Just Drag&Drop into %appdata%\Roaming\virtuali\Airplanes

    Uper deck normaly get the catring delivred in the upper R3 door.

    Hi, thank you, but no. I handled the A380 myself for many years for Lufthansa, Singapore Airlines, Emirates, Qatar and Thai and every time it was U1R, M2R and M5R and sometimes as well M1R. Unfortunately GSX is providing just 2 catering trucks and not 3. With this limitation I can't add the third one.

    The product is very good. However, could you please offer a suggestion to add a second floor for catering service in the 380?

    I can try, but GSX limits the catering vehicels to only 2. So, either there will be no one at the front door or at the back door.

    I made a version with the catering truck from the front door to the upper deck. The issue is, that it clips through the wing when docking. This can't be changed, as GSX has not modeled the correct catering truck that was specifically made for the A380 upper deck. Also I had to align it a bit tilted to the door, that it is at least not also clipping through the engine. You can Download it now here. I made a second download for it. So anyone can choose what they want.

    It’s a shame that there are some inconsiderate people leaving negative comments even though you worked so hard to make this. They really should reflect on their behavior, especially when all they do is quietly enjoy what someone else has created, lol.

    This works less idealy then inibuilds own gsx profile. Dont waste your time on this, get INIbuilds own profile found here: https://forum.inibuilds.com/topic/40737-gsx-profile-a380-airliner/

    Not true! I adjusted everything by myself. Even the Fueling Point was not there in the original file!

    I adjusted every door, lavatory, fresh water, de-icing, wing, bypass pin, audio port, gpu and fuelin point by my self to better match to everything!

    Hi,

    just a little thing i found on my Setup and want to share

    In my case it was that %appdata% diretly links to %appdata%\roaming ...

    So, if someone has issues with the link thankfully provided by Kaero .. try only %appdata%\virtuali\Airplanes

    Hope you can answer a question related to this:
    Which folder should be put into the C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Virtuali\Airplanes folder?
    1) The "inibuilds-a380" or
    2) The folder inside named "800"?
    Not sure which is to be used to make it work in GSX.
