    Bluebird sim 757-200 - Icelandair TF-FIR (80 years livery) - 4K - Image 1

    Description

In 2017, Icelandair celebrated its 80th anniversary with a special livery on a Boeing 757-200, registered TF-FIR, named Vatnajökull. The aircraft featured a stunning blue-and-white design inspired by Iceland’s largest glacier, with icy landscapes painted across the fuselage and special ice-blue cabin lighting. The scheme celebrated Icelandair’s history dating back to 1937 while showcasing Iceland’s natural beauty. The aircraft became a favourite among aviation enthusiasts and continued flying in its anniversary colours until its retirement in September 2025.

    Current known issues:

    - mapping issues on the nose around the Pitot tubes, this will be resolved upon the release of the paintkit.

    - wrong lettering on nose gear, will be updated in the coming days

-strange nose missmapping, will be fixed with paintkit

A major overhaul will be completed upon the release of the paintkit due to the mapping issues on my kit.

Let me know what you think and any bug reports ill try to fix them as soon as but like i say some cannot be repaired until the paintkit is released, please take note of these issues and do not download until theyre fixed if you want a completely perfect aircraft, this is to just get you flying this wonderful scheme in the mean time.
