    Description

    This scenery is an attempt to correct the runway lights, the approach lights, the taxiways, the aircraft parking and the airport lights.It also removes a building on the west end of the runway and changes the old terminal, the fire station and the control tower.
    This version impoves the night lighting of the airport and makes sure that there are no disconnected sections of the taxiways, which should make AI traffic work with this airport.
    There are no custom buildings in this scenery, it only uses default buildings and terminal.

    Version 1.5 adds fence, corrects windsock positions, corrects the car parking in front of the terminal and does better teraforming.
    Version 1.6 makes the ILS frequency visible in the airplanes FMC/MCDU.
    Version 1.7 corrects the runway 09 numbering from 9 to 09.
    Version 1.8 adds the name of the airport on the terminal building (a big thank you to Lucian Cristea for adding the airport name in the scenery).

    Installation instructions:
    Please remove the previous version of this airport, then unzip and copy "Airport LRSB-Sibiu-v1.8" folder in your MSFS Community folder.

    Hello, unfortunately I am not using MSFS anymore and I have stopped working on sceneries a long time ago. I'm very sorry to say this, but there will be no updates.

    Unfortunately for me its broken. I removed the scenery again to see if it is maybe another error but the elevation of the airport is wrong. There is deep cliff right after the runway which also let the city Sibui disapear and show only the groundtexture and no 3d houses. Please can you fix this as this is an airport I often fly to in real life. Thanks.

    I think I had to delete the preinstalled version. Now it seems ok. But it is still the generic airport hall and not a self made one or did this not come with this add on?

    Hello, my scenery comes with the stock terminal, just the airport name on top of it. I don't know how to create new objects, all my sceneries use only stock elements available in the SDK.

    Hi.


    It looks like after MSFS2020 update in may2021, the Sibiu airport building and related textures are wrong and it looks weird.

    can you fix it?

    I have flown from LRSB yesterday but I didn't notice anything weird with the textures... The airport terminal building is the default one, with default textures. I recommend checking another airport with default terminal, and see how the texture looks. Maybe your default textures got corrupted somehow.
