    Description

    VH-OEJ was the last 747-400 Qantas order and was the last to be retired in 2020 so it is only fitting to give this fictional 747-8i 2016 Qantas livery the same registration. VH-OEJ was 1 of 6 747-400ER planes which were only ever made for Qantas. The ER which stands for Extended Range was no different than the 747-400 except it had an extra 12,300 litre fuel tank in the forward cargo hold extending the range of the aircraft by 800km. I personally flew on this plane several times including when it was painted in it's traditional Aboriginal "Wunala Dreaming" livery.

    Unfortunately not. This won't be updated due to how Asobo have locked down their aircraft in 2024.

    Can you make liveries for Lufthansa, Korean Air and Air China, as these are real life 747-8 operators? Amazing work, thank you ^^

    bug or not. main 2 and main 3 at 0, but the motors do not switch to main 1 and 4. no more electricity although I can see arrows indicating that fuel is being transferred between main 1 and 2, main 4 and 3

    You can't let Main 2 or 3 go empty on the aircraft otherwise engines 2 and 3 will flame out.

    For fuel management you need to leave the Main 1-4 pumps on along with the Main 2 & 3 override pumps until all main tanks are equal and get the message "FUEL TANK/ENG" which then you turn off the override pumps and the cross feed values from Main 1 to 2 and 3 to 4.

    pity that the salty support no longer works. I wanted to make a flight with the 747 of asobo and 2h from arrival after an 8h flight, all the plane goes out as if there was no more fuel when not after mass and balance

    I'm a developer of Salty and the default Asobo is now far better than Salty ever was. Sim Update 13 next month has bug fixes and adds new features such as Simbrief integration and payload and fuel management. Ensure you have Salty uninstalled and all other mods (such as lighting or texture mods).

    Salty has been discontinued due to the AAU2 update which brings the default Asobo 747-8 up to payware standard which puts it far ahead of what Salty ever was.

    No problem! In the next week will release the pre-2016 livery.


    Btw if your rear starboard door is the wrong red, redownload it. I made a mistake and corrected in 5 minutes after sending out the version update.
