    Beechcraft G36 Bonanza X Series (9 colours) - Image 1

    Description

Oct 21 update - pink cockpit is now fixed

Completing the X series for the Beechcraft range of planes the Bonanza gets all 9 colours.

The ugly bonnet paint is gone, while the elegent stripes remain and a resiliant carbon belly and wings. I have tested a new 'layered' approach to painting this time, which has allowed a much better control of the colour and also helps not to colour in things that don't require it! Update: in v2.1 the edges have been cleared up... it seems I can still paint/not paint in the right areas!

And now the Bonanza X Series includes a brand new 'Burnt Orange' colour scheme! Yes... not copying a colour from Aston Martin's pallete in any way...

As always with the packs, unzip the file to remove the individual colour folders before dragging them into your community folder. Shout out to 'Bony' who asked if I would do the Bonanza next.

    All feedback and comments welcome.

Hi, I'm afraid that there're some problems with these liveries in SU9, they do not appear as installed and cannot be installed from content manager

Hi there. Can I ask when the last time you updated the files was? I have just checked (and updated the game as I have been away this week) and the livery is working.

There are two possibilities - SU6 (or 7) caused file issues which were sorted out. If you haven't updated the livery for a while then that may cause it. The other possibility is that you are using a third party modification - and I cannot guarantee the liveries will work with those.

Let me know if you still get issues :-)

Hi. After applying SU9 the X Series for King Air and Bonanza were uninstalled and appeared in Content Manager as not installed. Just for these two aircrafts, not for the rest of the X Series. I could not install them from there. I removed them from the Community folder and copy them again and now they've reappeared, so problem is solved!

I tried several of these with the stock G1000 panel and the panel is black. No issues with the stock livery for the G36. Anyone have any idea why?

I will have a look at this - not sure why that would be

Hi again. I have just tested this in game and the panels all work fine. Do you have any mods running? All the best

So sorry, forgot to respond. Yes, another mod caused the issue.

Hello Smeary!! Great work, I do love your liveries! One observation: when I have the Working Title Garmin G1000 NXi (version 0.3 released today) app installed from the Marketplace (under Content Manager), the Engine stats panel does not appear. I had noticed this in the previous version of Working Title as well. I have mentioned this in the Working Title Discord. They suspect that there is an issue with your panel.xml. It may be using definitions tied to the legacy WTG1000. Currently, this addon in the Sim Marketplace only supports EIS configs that are stock with the sim. Can please you look into this?

    Hi,

I will take a look at them, though I didn't design them with 3rd party mods in mind. It seems that having made us all include panel models etc. in our liveries, Asobo has done away with that... so I will see if I can simply delete the panel folder and references.

Okay, cool thanks!! Let me know if you have any further questions, or would like for me to verify any modifications. I am happy to help in any way I can!

Yeah mate, love this set of liveries for Bonanza and Baron - but it does somehow give issues on the Garmin.

Not all of them. I did a test. For instance, the blue one gives normal info on Garmin, but RedX gives channels that are inactive or not existing at all.

Edit: but I can see how this is not an issue on your side :) anyway, great pack

I know what has done it - I managed to work out how to edit the colour of the tail number by bringing in the panel files... However, it seems this has more impact than I expected.

I will be fixing it as soon as I can sit down with the files. I will let you know when it is done (though if you have the older files - pre tail change - then it should be fine)

When trying to fly with these I can't get into the flight without stuttering.

They are fine in the hangar, but not in a flight.
