    This is my fourth livery published on flightsim.to...

    Reflecting the Lufthansa 747-8 reg. D-ABYT to a high-quality and realistic standard.

    To install;

    Simply extract the zip file and place the folder titled 'Asobo_B747_8i_LUFTHANSA_RETRO' straight into your community folder and voila!

    Known Issue(s);

    - To add Boeing 747-8 text at rear

    I hope this livery can be updated ... when you do, the YT on the tail should be to the rear of the flag on both sides of the tail: at the moment is wrong on the port side of the plane.

    Thanks for the livery. I love it.

    But I think since last update, it is no more visible.

    In external view only the cockpit is hovering in the air.

    Does anybody else have this problem or is it only in my system.

    It would be nice if you could fix it. Thanks a lot.

    BEAUTYFUL !!! a must have classic livery!

    Could you please do a classic SAS 747, like the one they had 747-200 in the 70's-80's ? i can post you a picture if you want. or you can have a look on Airliners.net and search for SAS B747-200

    This is good work, I love the detail. What's missing though it the fuselage reflectivity and 'bumps' from the COMP and NORM bitmaps which sadly takes away much of the realism and doesn't utilise the brilliant MSFS lighting system. :(

    Hi there,


    Thank you for your review, I may return to this livery to add the COMP and NORM bmps in that format to ensure the best lighting possible is incorporated yet this livery in its current form does still provide effects from sunlight interaction
