Amazonian Airfields Pack - Image 1

    Description

A compilation of 170 airfields from the ecuadorian Amazon provinces of Pastaza, Morona Santiago and Orellana. Those airfields are helpul for the native indigenous people that live in remote communities inside the jungle. Aircraft as Cessna 152, 172, 182, 206, 208 or the Britten Norman Islander BN2 fly everyday under different weather conditions that need the skills of experienced pilots to transport people, cargo and to perform emergency flights. Base airpots to reach the communities in jungle are SEMC - Edmundo Carvajal airport at Macas city and SESM Río Amazonas airport at Shell town. Enjoy it and for future will upload more airfields or correct issues founded.

This is a build of 95% of ecuadorian Amazon airstrips. A hard work that took time and investigation. To continue with my work I encourage those who decide to support the continuity of my work to donate voluntarily. Youo can click on my profile "Donate via PayPal" to help to continue with my work. Happy Xmas and happy new year 2022 with full flights!

A lot of these airstrips have wrong elevation data and they are created impossibly. For example, one airstrip is in a ditch where the wings can't fit. Another one is under water close to a river. Another has a sideways slope, and so on.

There is something wrong with your settings. Nobody else reported such issue.

Exelent job! Could you do the "Ruta del sol" airports? (SESA, SEMT, SETN) Also there are some extra ones that I hope you consider doing... :) (SEAY, SEML, SEXN, SESV, SECQ)

    great job! felicitaciones!

only remark: polygons of open areas in jungle with brownish ground are too sharpen... maybe a Fall Off of Texture with example 50m would look more natural

--> see area of SEPR or SEOZ

(modifying directly inside Source XML or ShapeFiles, instead with SDK, should be easy to handle)

Thanks. I just use textures as default, but I also notice the are too shiny. I´ll start fixing that but it takes a long time.

    Hi there,

Could you tell how it occurs?

The way to install is by simply extract unzipped folders into the MSFS2020 Community folder.

Hi, right. I have over 1500 items in my community folder and when I load this item, the content manager cannot read any files preventing me from downloading any updates. I don't know why that happens, just that it does.

    Hi,

Well as I try to figure out what´s going on with your community folder, I would suggest to check if you have all library objects that are included in the sceneries.

I recommend you to donwload all library objects tha you can fin in flightsim.to Tha could maybe resolve the issue. Tedll me if it works!

    Hello Fkarste,

Recently this Amazonian airstrip addon was released by another develloper.

    https://flightsim.to/file/13980/pistas-de-garimpos-by-tchockozzo

Can you tell me wether your Amazonian airstrips are in the same area or not?

In other words wether they overlap or not?

    Thanks

    Bram
