    Project started in 2019 for FSX then transferred from March 2021 to MSFS.

    MSFS : Rearranged the atoll, vegetation and motu, addition of the airport runway, the tarmac, the luxury resort. The restaurant, the cocktail bar, the swimming pool and its deckchairs.

    Addition of one of the boats 'The Brando' and if you are attentive of a pretty vahine on her canoe.

    I hope you will have as much fun discovering this magical place as I had updating it.

    Installation: unzip the file in your Community directory (1.3 Go).

    MSFS : J'ai réarrangé l'atoll, la végétation et les 'motu' , ajout de la piste d'aéroport, le tarmac, le complexe hôtelier de luxe. Le restaurant, le bar à cocktails, la piscine et ses transats. Ajout d'un des bateaux 'The Brando' et si vous êtes attentifs d'une jolie vahine sur sa pirogue.

    Installation : décompresser le fichier dans votre répertoire Community. (1.3Go)

     

    Credits :

    The ground imagery scenery has been extracted from Google Maps, hence all those imagery credits goes to Google.

    All extra buildings are homemade using Blender.

    Textures for 3D models are from pictures from the net or from https://ambientcg.com/

    Ia ora na Captainfrag ! Je me demandais si tu pouvais agir sur le watermask ? Pour ta scène de Tetiaroa, on voit quelques nuances de couleurs pour le lagon alors que dans les autres atolls des Tuamotu, l'intérieur du lagon est bleu uniforme. Pour NTTE, c toi qui a pu mettre un lagon où on voit les coraux ou ça dépend d'Asobo ?

    Le watermask est géré au bon gré d'Asobo ...
    Lors de mon temps libre, je m'essaye à ajouter des images transparentes pour simuler le lagon. Après quelques apprentissages sur Maupiti, cela avance sur Tetiaroa. Juste besoin de (beaucoup) de temps pour paufiner le résultat.

    Arghhh depuis l'update 12 il y a 2 jours, ils ( Asobo) ont fait disparaitre le récif tout autour de l'atoll de Tetiaroa . J'ai essayé de voir ce que cela donnait en désactivant ton addon, alors là c'est carrément horrible ! que ce soit avec Bing ou Google maps. Les motu apparaissent comme des îlots hauts avec de l’herbe jusqu'au bord ce qui n'était pas le cas avec les SU 11. On se croirait revenu en 2020. Au secours.

    Bonsoir,

    Avec l'update d'aujourd'hui V1.32.7.0 et la mise à jour de l'Océanie par Asobo ; les choses se sont un peu améliorées.

    Il manque néanmoins toute la barrière de corail qui a disparue de ma scène :(

    Pour vous réconforter, allez voir Moorea, l'aéroport est très réussi. Et sur Tahiti, passez au dessus de la Pointe Vénus, Asobo y a implémenté le phare ;)

    I am not one to get frustrated about things like this, but it is undeniably standard practice that English be seen as the first language on large community-speaking sites as large as this. I came here to read about this scenery add-on to know whether it is a good download. 


    It looks like it is, but I am passing up the download since just about every comment is in French. This is no reflection on the developer in any way.


    MSFS is an open-minded, all-inclusive community. English should be what we all speak when commenting. Honestly, this policy should be strictly enforced. Not because I am a pompous ass who thinks the world revolves around English-speaking members but because it is the language officially recognized everywhere in most industries, as one example. ATC worldwide is required to communicate in English, so before I get a lot of negative backlash, that alone speaks to my point.

    People in French Polynesia (where this island is) speak French, Tahitian, or another Polynesian language. That's probably why most comments here are in French. If you want to know what people are saying, on this, or any other website which uses foreign language text, there's a great app called TransOver - it's free and it instantly translates just about any language to your native language by simply selecting the text.

    J'ai eu de la chance d'y faire plusieurs séjours à la "grande époque" quand c'était financièrement accessible. Ambiance à la bonne franquette, pas d'électricité le soir, lampe à pétrole dans le bungalow. Inoubliable ... Maintenant c'est pour les milliardaires. Pour me consoler il reste les vols en TWIN et Britten avec ton superbe mod, un régal à chaque fois, ma madeleine de Proust à moi. Maruuru .
