EFRO Rovaniemi is the biggest airport in Lapland Finland located on the arctic circle.

This scenery includes the airport modelled in various details, civilian side being the most accurate and Finnish frontier guard and military areas not very detailed. The city includes the flight obstacles and some landmarks. This scenery is mostly a conversion of my older Rovaniemi sceneries.

Version 1.2 Small fixes here and there

Version 1.1 adds a dolly for helicopter in front of the FinnHems hangar as well as a new helipad of the hospital.

INSTALLATION

* Remove any pöder versions
* Copy finland-rovaniemi-2024folder to your Community folder.

IMPORTANT
* I sincerely recommend (it's almost required) DEM for Finland - AP heightmaps by Morko
 
  EFRO terrain is very difficult to model right, Morko's heightmap is so far the best model of the EFRO terrain

* I also recommend you to look at Finland EcoRegions scenery to get a bit different forests to Finland as well as Seamarks scenery for added realism also in the Rovaniemi area Finland seamarks +

* If you don't have Navigraph subscription for charts you can get official Finland AIP charts from here.

KNOWN ISSUES
* The jetways do not animate
* The building textures are mostly from older simulator versions and by no means the resolution we could model today.
* The newer buildings at the airport are mostly just a good quess what comes to the modelling
* The signs at EFRO should be very close to reality what comes to the text in them. The models are default MSFS2020 and don't represent the reality excatly.
