    EKVL - FS2020
    Værløse Air Base is a former Royal Danish Air Force base located 20 kms outside Copenhagen.

    The airfield was built in 1934 and has been active until April 2004. Today is used as a creative area and new houses are being built close to the old runway.

    Many people has been working there and has special feelings for this airfield. It's close to my own city and in the "old" days we could hear the C-130s warming up thier engines before departure.

    In Hangar 2 some volunteers are maintaining quite a few old jets which have been in the Danish Airforce

    What is the status of this airport IRL? No yellow x? Is the runway in use for special occasions?

    Has been closed since 2004. Only in use when airshow is held

    Any chance to give us a version with no yellow "X"s on the runway to show the base as it was when it was an active base?

    I like my MSFS realistic and are often bike riding out at Værløse. So I hope that the lastest version with the X's removed is just a "one off". Thanks for your effort

    I fly with my RC warplanes, out of Værløse, when the wind allows it. And with my Bf 109 I pretend to attak the Hangars on the 9. of April 1940

    Tak! Im quite happy they chose to include Værløse as an active airport in the sim, your scenery is a nice touch. Now we only need some F-104´s !
