    An so it comes to the Cessna range of small aircraft... and I have to admit, these are a pain to paint properly (i.e. not cover in paint and think.. sod it:-)

    With the same classy colours of Jet Black, Wine Burgundy, British Racing Green, Rosso Red, Rich Cream, Royal Blue, Velvet Purple and (naturally) Banana Yellow - coupled with carbon wings and extensions... the X series of liveries gives you a choice of colours without having to slap a name on your planes. Well, a small golden 'x'... but you have to pardon Smeary for a signature eh.

    I hope you enjoy these. They are already available for 9 other aircraft in MSFS2020 - are all exclusive to FlightSim...

    As ever, unzip the main folder to extract the colour folders from within before dragging these into your community folder. For clarity, you will find 8 folders inside (for each colour) called 'Asobo_208B-XXXXX'

    Hi Smeary, Just a quick note to say thanks for keeping up with what has become a moving target for all you livery artists! Yours are still a staple for me! And whenever you get the time, a Burnt Orange in this 208B would look great!

    I love these colour collections and fly them all the time on my aircraft. They even have their own separate folder so they are easy to find using MSFS addons linker. Except for the Cessna Caravan, I think your version in the Mega Pack is better and wondered if you were planning to update the Caravan colours here. (Unless its all in my head).

    Hi, thanks for the feedback. Do you mean the naming convention or the livery? The livery is the same... but I had a pain with this livery sitting before the default livery.

    [Update March 18] Apologies. Did more checking and realized its only the thumbnails for the liveries in the FlightSim collection which show a thin goldish stripe. The Actual liveries on the plane while flying are the same as the Mega Pack. Should have realized that sooner.

    Can't get these to work. Every time I try putting them into the community folder, keep getting error message "Destination Path Is Too Long" and saying the model and texture file names are too long.

    Hi... I think (??) I know where you are going wrong... you basically have two choices. Either unzip the main folder outside of the 'community' folder (I think the one before it is called packages) *or* try unzipping the folder directly into the community folder. The other time this problem occurs is if you already have the files in your community folder (in this case delete the ones in the community folder before trying again)

    The community folder seems to be encrypted and is really fussy. Let me know how you get on

    Hey i have the problem with a different livery that also gets before the default can you share how to you changed it so it doesnt ??? Btw. you still have these Caravans marked as Airliners

    I will take another look at the airliner thing (though, in reality - I think they are mainly passenger/freight in real life. Ha ha... not a sufficient excuse not to sort though eh!

    As for the names - well, I had to ask myself: its all in the folder names. It seems MSFS looks at the subfolder before the TEXTURE folder (in this case 'ASOBO_208B_GRAND_CARAVAN_EX_XXXX' - which should match the main folder name.. and should be a higher value than the 'default'. If you see what I mean. It does mean editing the layout.cfg too (to match) but after a couple of tries it worked. Hope that helps
