    Description

    With RandFailuresFS2020 you can randomize in-flight failures and check if you can detect them, handle them and survive. From minor panel or turbocharger failure to complete brakes or engine failures. You can try what would you do in case of

    • Asymmetric flaps
    • Trims failure
    • Primary flight controls failure
    • Gear failure
    • Coolant leaks
    • and more

    Failure can occur in one of four moments (which you can turn on or off) :

    • Instantly
    • After random set of secconds
    • At random altitide
    • At random speed


    Instalation manual

    1. Download latest release
    2. Unzip RandFailuresFS2020[version].zip archive to a directory
    3. Run .exe file
    4. Done 


    Requirements

    • Application requires .NET 6

    Not sure why people are saying it doesn't work anymore. For me it works fine (I'm using MSFS 2020). Engine fires don't seem to do anything but that is probably a limitation within MSFS. Thanks for this cool addon!

    Addon no longer does anything besides "other" failures and "brake" failures. It suddenly stopped working on all of my planes :(

    This is ok. The issue is that it will crash. Sometimes it will work, but a lot of times the app randomly closes.

    If you dont have .NET 6, install the x64 version from this site:

    For those who can't run the file because it says that you need to download .NET 6,
    You need to download the x64 installer (not the x84) otherwise it won't work.
    When you have done that, it should work perfectly fine.
    (I had this problem at first, but now it is fixed)
    And the addon works like it should!
