Description
A Royal New Zealand Air Force livery for the F/A-18E Super Hornet (and Super Warrior too, in the additional downloads).
Changelog:
v1.3:Added by default, an version for the F/A18E Super Hornet (default Asobo aircraft).
The previous version (1.2) for the Super Warrior has been moved as an additional download for people who are still using it.
v1.2:Not a big deal, but it's now compatible with the external tanks available from version 7.3 of the Super Warrior.
These are not custom tanks, it's the default from the Super Warrior, but if some of you show interest, I could make specific tanks for these RNZAF liveries :)
v1.1:Thanks to SeanTK's comment I've been able to know exactly how to improve and fix my initial version of this RNZAF livery.
- More curvatures and details to the camouflage pattern.
- Fixed logos (Kiwis and flag) locations and orientation!
- Added more realistic decals on strategic spots.
- Second livery included: dirty version of the plane for more believability!

Thanks. But I'm not using their F/A-18C, so I probably won't make any livery for this plane, sorry.

Hey, could it work with the regular Super Hornet? If not, will there be one someday?

That's a good question... I completely forgot about my F/A-18 liveries :) ... I'll take the time to migrate them to the regular Super Hornet (shouldn't be too complicated) and post them as additional files.

Looks great but if I can make a suggestion for accuracy with the real world (when roundels were applied to RNZAF fast jets in the 80s/90s), the feet of the kiwi bird should always be oriented inwards toward the aircraft, and the beak always face forward toward the direction of flight. Looking forward to any updates!

Oh, good. Didn't know about that. So it means left and right side kiwis are mirrored in real life?

Yes. So you did it right in terms of have a kiwi on the upper side of the left wing and the lower side of the right (with the upper right wing blank and the lower left blank), but the feet should be facing toward the fuselage, and the beaks towards the nose. :)

Roger that! It will be fixed very soon. I'll also add a few more decals (smaller ones), yellow "rescue" arrow, and probably make the camo pattern slightly more "groovy". But since it's my first livery, I have to find out a good working pipeline for all that, so I will certainely be more efficient soon!
