The Rocky Mountains - from Yukon to New Mexico

This is the first trip written especially for the DHC-6 Twin Otter, which after a long development phase is finally on the market as of today. This aircraft is simply part of the "dream of flying" for me. As described below, you can of course use your own dream airplane before the first takeoff, if it doesn't have jet engines.

The Rocky Mountains are part of the Cordillera range that stretches from Tierra del Fuego to Alaska. They are an important ecosystem, supplier of raw materials and CO2 reservoir and are home to various recreational and winter sports centers. The region of U.S. states located in the Rocky Mountains is called the Mountain States. In the usual definition of the Rocky Mountains, the range extends from the Liard River in Canada, over 1700 nautical miles, to the northern part of New Mexico.

On this trip, experience mountains and valleys, rivers and lakes, vast forests and hot deserts in a unique landscape, plus tricky approaches and spectacular landings at airfields large and small. All this is offered by the Rocky Mountains.

Specification:

• The trip has a length of 2,500 NM, with 21 legs.
• You fly with a DHC-6 Twin Otter. The aircraft is interchangeable with some manual work, see exchange file. Alternatively there is the MissionChanger from BuffyGC.
• The trip is translated into all MSFS languages except Chinese and Japanese. The basic language is German. The other languages are machine translated and may contain errors. If you have a better translation, feel free to send it to me.
• The GPS course does not always follow the course of the river exactly. Navigate with the HDG button.
• A GPS course is available that can be obtained. (see "Frequently Asked")
• Weather is freely selectable. Live weather is preset.
• A flight plan for LNM is included in the package.

Dies ist der erste Trip, der speziell für die DHC-6 Twin Otter geschrieben wurde, die nach langer Entwicklungsphase nun endlich seit heute auf dem Markt ist. Dieses Flugzeug gehört für mich einfach zum „Traum vom Fliegen“. Wie unten beschrieben, kannst du natürlich vor dem ersten Start auch dein eigenes Traumflugzeug einsetzen, wenn es nicht gerade Düsentriebwerke hat.

Die Rocky Mountains sind Teil der von Feuerland bis Alaska reichenden Kordilleren. Sie sind ein bedeutendes Ökosystem, Rohstofflieferant und CO2-Speicher und beherbergen diverse Erholungs- und Wintersportzentren. Die Region der in den Rocky Mountains gelegenen US-Bundesstaaten wird Mountain States genannt. In der üblichen Definition der Rocky Mountains erstreckt sich das Gebirge vom Liard-River in Kanada, über 1700 nautische Meilen, bis in den nördlichen Teil von Neu Mexiko.

Erlebe auf dieser Reise Berge und Täler, Flüsse und Seen, ausgedehnte Wälder und heiße Wüsten in einer einzigartigen Landschaft, dazu knifflige Anflüge und spektakuläre Landungen auf großen und kleinen Flugplätzen. All das bieten die Rocky Mountains.

Spezifikation:

• Der Trip hat eine Länge von 2.500 NM, mit 21 Legs.
• Du fliegst mit einer DHC-6 Twin Otter. Das Flugzeug ist mit etwas Handarbeit austauschbar, siehe Exchange-Datei. Alternativ gibt es dazu auch den MissionChanger von BuffyGC.
• Der Trip ist in alle Sprachen des MSFS übersetzt, außer chinesisch und japanisch. Die grundlegende Sprache ist Deutsch. Die anderen Sprachen sind maschinell übersetzt und können Fehler enthalten. Wer eine bessere Übersetzung hat, kann sie mir gerne schicken.
• Der GPS-Kurs folgt nicht immer genau dem Flusslauf. Navigiere mit dem HDG-Knopf.
• Ein GPS-Kurs ist vorhanden, der erhalten werden kann. (siehe "Häufig Gefragt")
• Das Wetter ist frei wählbar. Live-Wetter ist voreingestellt.
• Ein Flugplan für LNM ist im Paket enthalten.
