    Description

    Wittenoom is a declared contaminated site and former townsite 1,420 kilometres north-north-east of Perth in the Hamersley Range in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. The declared contaminated site comprises 50,000 hectares making it the "largest contaminated site in the southern hemisphere.

    After the Australian government removed all residents from the township due to the contamination of blue asbestos from the mining, a new secret project was put into place. The site is a Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) testing facility for new military technology including aircraft and space rockets as well as rumoured alien technology. It is believed the Australian government is working closely with NASA and the USAF facility Area 51.

    YWIT – Wittenoom Air Force Base has 3 runways, 2 of which are over 4 kilometres in length. The Australian government has continuously denied any air base or structures and has gone to great lengths to hide the facility from the public including false satellite imagery on Google and Bing maps as well as restricted airspace and no public access into the “contaminated” area.

    Attention update 2.0 still leads to damaged textures in other scenery

    Please remove the scenery or fix it. I spent 2 hours trying to figure out why I was getting pink textures in some "random" other scenery. Removing this package fixed the issue. Version 2.0 still has that issue.

    Yes, I have the same issue, this airfield causes a conflict with other community created airfields and replaces many of the default Asobo textures with a red/white FURY texture - https://imgur.com/a/ZyziTSQ

    Unfortunately this addon is still causing texture issues in other addons. Just discovered it's causing a texture in two spots to be pink at the NZA Glentanner airport, part of their newly released Mt Cook area addon. Removing this addon fixes the issue. It might be an idea to change the names of the textures to something more unique, IF that's possible, to avoid conflicts.

    Hi there, just to let you know that this airport is causing a red texture with the word Fury in white writing to appear where the runway texture should be on other airport scenery’s, not all, but I’ve come across a couple, including the new Out Skerries made by Asobo for the new world update. Strangely it even appears on synthetic vision on the G1000 which is bizarre as I wouldn’t have thought they would have anything to do with each other.

    Yeah, it still hasn't been fixed, it happened again with a payware airport on the in sim market place I got the other day, realised I still had this installed, removed it and no more red textures where taxiway etc textures should be.
