Am I annoying if I request a PTP variant for this livery, so it can be installed and managed via the PMDG OC?

did you run the PMDG Operations Center v2 as an admin?
if not that may be the problem when getting an error while installing the ptp file

I know the real 700 doesn't even have winglets but it looks a blit empty like that.
