    Description

    The medieval Tuscan city of Siena was one of the key regional Italian powers during the age of the commune (11th to 14th centuries). By the 13th century, the Republic of Siena had grown in wealth and territory to the point that it rivalled its neighbour Florence, with which it fought various regional wars and skirmishes. By the 16th century, Siena's apogee had expired, and it was absorbed into the Grand Duchy of Florence under Cosimo il Grande. Today, the city is a popular tourist hub and home to the successful Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena.

    Resolution could be better. Could use some work with the colour correction.

    Unfortunately, when approaching Sienna my framerate dropped from 20+ to less than 5 so I had to turn away to get control over my plane again.

    Fantastico, grazie mille! Would you please extend the scenery to the remaining part of the municipality? I live in "Cappuccini area" which is not in this scenery.

    Hi, how is it possible, that your wonderful scerneries take only a relatively small amount of storage space while others need for their sceneries much more? For example Viareggio or Pietresanta? They need 4 GB and more, but the quality is not better than yours. Love your sceneries. Need more of them.

    @Pastaiolo Yeah I'll probably do Pisa at some point. I generally focus on the centro storico so the boundaries of the old city wall would be a good hint for what it would include if and when I do it.

    Thank you (for this and Lucca too). Any chance you will try doing the same for Pisa? It's hard not to see the tower properly done :) but i woudn't mind flying over my city with photogrammetry considering it is possible with Google but missing in Bing.
