I KNOW I KNOW,the real Hettinger ranch isn’t looks like this,but I just can’t stop myself to building up on such a nice place.BASE ON REALITY,BIGGER THAN REALITY is what a simulation needs to be.

Hettinger ranch,Idaho,located at the south fork salmon river,4 miles north of McClain ranch,east end of Smith creek,elevation approx 2845ft,split as north side and south side ranch by smith creek,runway located at the north side,turf,and the main ranch is located at the south side,steep hills are all around the ranch place.

Anyway,the terrain roads vegetation river are made as close as possible to the real look,and the basic structure of the ranch is correct.I didn’t shape any custom 3D models to copy the real buildings looks,because I’m not efficient for 3D modeling,and as you might know it’s gonna cost a lots of time and patience,as my first freeware addon I prefer finishing it more than perfecting it.For your convenience and lower the performance drop,most of the buildings and items are picked in the fs base libraries and those world update libraries,just a little of them are picked in 3rd party libraries,I’ll listed out what libraries you need in the end of description.
I also drew a airport facility chart for it(included in the file package),made as the same format as official does,it might help to planning your trip there.

Below are what I did in the ranch:
1.Create a fiction ICAO code:IDHT;
2.Terraforming north side and south side ranch area;
3.Nearby south fork salmon river terraforming and elevation fix;
4.Roads network rebuild and vegetation rebuild around the ranch;
5.Paths and vegetation rebuild inside the ranch;
6.Replace all the buildings inside the ranch(see the notes above about buildings and items);
7.Build up some fiction ranch project such as horse barn,abandoned fish farm,several huts etc,even some of them are fiction,but you will not gonna have any unnatural feels.However,the real hettinger ranch is simple and clear;
8.Night lighting all around the ranch,you will see much better and clear when at dawn and dusk;
9.Add a hidden strip at south side ranch,hard and fun,only available for skillfully pilot;
10.Draw a airport facility chart in official format;
11.And there’re more details waiting for you to find out!

To see all the buildings and items,you need to have couples of 3rd party libraries installed,they’re listed below:
1.BeeKay Pack1;
2.Mikea.at-AssetPack;
3.PBK Effect Library.
It still works fine even if you don’t have them,but just gonna missed some of the items and smokes.
