Brașov-Ghimbav International Airport (Romanian: Aeroportul Internațional Brașov-Ghimbav) (ICAO: LROV) is an airport development project located in Ghimbav, near Brașov, Romania, right by the future A3 motorway. It is the first airport to be built in post-communist Romania, and the 17th commercial airport in the country. Flights are expected to commence on 1 November 2022.

Interest has already been shown by flight operators from Germany (Lufthansa), Poland (LOT Polish Airlines), Turkey (Turkish Airlines), Hungary (Wizz Air), and Israel (EL AL Israel Airlines), but also from internal operators, from Constanța (Blue Air) and Bucharest (Air Bucharest).

LRBV supports BeyondATC and FSHud 

Please read this: SID and STAR are not part of the scenary, you will have to wait for MSFS2020  to update their nav data.

Here are a few examples on how to take off from Brasov

From RWY 03 via CTR01: Climb straight ahead on track 030 to CTR01 at above FL080.220 MAX IAS

From RWY 03 via CTR02: Climb ahead on track 028 till D 4.5 VBV. Turn LEFT to VBV and intercept R113 VBV to CTR02 at or above FL105. 220 MAX IAS

From RWY 03 via CTR03: Climb ahead on track 028 till D 4.5 VBV. Turn LEFT to VBV and intercept R169 VBV to CTR03.Cross CTR03 at or above FL105. 220MAX IAS

From RWY 21 via CTR01: Climb on runway track until D7.5.Turn RIGHT to CTR01.Cross CTR01 at or above FL080.210 MAX IAS

From RWY21 via CTR02: Climb on runway track until D7.5 VBV. Turn RIGHT to CTR02 via VBV. Cross CTR02 at or above FL105.210 MAX IAS

From RWY 21 via CTR03: Climg on runway track, at D7.5 VBV turn RIGHT to VBV and proceed on R 030 VBV. On R 030 VBV, at D 4.0 VBV turn left to VBV intercepting R 169 VBV to CTR03.Cross CTR03 at or above FL105. 210 MAX IAS

LRBV has hand crafted terminal (2k texture resolution), custom objects, aprons (runway, markings, taxiways, taxi signs)

All the modelings , aprons, taxiways were created based on pictures and might not look like the original one !

Extract  “oltcitroom-lrov-brasov.zip” file to your Microsoft Flight Simulator Community folder.

Set yur GPS to this coordinates 46.03735236466647, 25.211948372048568 and fly over Rupea Citadel.
