- Southwest Airlines pushback tug
- Paintkit/Base textures improvement in partnership of Atarium Liveries and Comet Liveries
Installation:
1.
- Open the PMDG Operations Center v2.
- Aircraft and Liveries > Livery Utilities > Installed Products > PMDG 737-700 > Install Livery from PTP.
- Delete any previously installed iterations of the livery.
- Select the "N230WN - Colorado One" .ptp file to install
2. Because aircraft configurations don't always save properly, I've created a "Southwest Airlines 737NG Configurations" document to assist in setting up SWA liveries to correctly mimic their real-world counterparts. Verified by Southwest 737 pilots as well as other 737 pilots. It is included in the download, and you can also view it via this link: SWA 737NG Configurations

I've also created Southwest Airlines ground equipment vehicles. You can download them via this link: SWA GSE

Hey, wonderful livery, I enjoyed doing a flight to the Cayman Islands from Fort Lauderdale yesterday! I hate to be a nitpicker but on the main gear the little cover on the outsides (not sure the technical name) seems to be grey instead of blue like IRL, it may have just been the lighting but it still seems grey to me, but other than that it's a wonderful livery that I will be sure to fly more in the future! Thanks again for a wonderful livery!

Hi there, thanks for the kind words. If you mean the hub caps, then yes I intentionally made them a dark blue/grey color as that's the color they are currently with the constant wear and tear they endure. If you look at recent pictures of N230WN, the hub caps certainly aren't a clean, vibrant blue color anymore.
Here's a few pictures:

Well, that makes sense! Never thought of it that way hehe.
Looking forward to using your liveries, I may or may not have downloaded them all 👀
Also looking forward to seeing what you can do for Freedom One when the -800 comes out, but anyway sorry for bothering you, and thanks for the superb liveries!

Not to worry! I do appreciate your comment and always feel free to let me know if you spot something wrong. I definitely have plans to continue the SWA liveries onto the -800 as well as some other airlines. Very excited for the release!

A good version of a AAL 738 or N5261A maybe 👀
Loving the Freedom One livery by the way!

Thank you for the southwest liveries you put out, especially this one. I was wondering if you could make a pack for your flag liveries like you did with the other SW liveries (Heart, Canyon Blue) so we could get them all at once.
Thanks for the kind words! I definitely would like to do that. I've got only 2 more "in-service" special liveries to do (Louisiana and Florida) and once I've got those completed I'll likely do a "mega pack" where they all can be downloaded at once.

Curious if planning to do like Illinois One?, which appears to be retired
almost 4 years ago
Absolutely! Although if I remember correctly, IL and TN will be returning sometime later this year on -800s. If I haven't made them on the -700s by that time, I'll do them on the -800s first then their retired counterparts on the -700.
