Description
This is a quick fix for the Banff -> Lake Louise -> Sask Crossing -> Jasper NP area topography created by the new WU11 update.
Note: This is version .8 fix
I guess its been more than a few weeks! A new version is out.
Fixed more terrain issues.
Added the wildlife bridges to parts of the parks. Wip
if you find any major errors please PM me and give me a chance to fix and update the problem.
Please delete your existing version.
Note: I would suggest adding the following sceneries:

Both are mine and extend the fixes further in both directions.

It's sad that those things weren't fixed in the world update - especially famous areas like these.
I'm looking forward for futher updates :)
For Example, the area next to the Jasper airport (northbound / direction to Hinton) could need some attention.

Thanks! Glad you like it. Right now I am looking for bugs further away from the main corridor, lakes other routes etc. I also want to check out how kananaskis looks as it's one of my favorite areas. But before that, I am In the middle of a big banff scenery update that will hopefully add some new stuff now that I know what wu11 is leaving alone. I can take a look further north from jasper and see the condition it's in, but it will be a new project.

That sounds good! If you are in the air above Jasper airport, northbound you can see a huge wall of water

I downloaded it, the problems directly at the airport are gone, thank you!
Maybe you can have look at the area next to it some day, I'll post a map in the user gallery here. It's a real mess there..

I might have to teach you how to use the sdk so you can carry on the work :-p
Once my updates are finished my banff and jasper scenery you never know.
Terrain fixing is is very boring and tedious, gotta balance it with interesting stuff ;-)

I just want to say thank you. I'm shocked Asobo gave us a whole Canadian world update and still hasn't fix that issue.

Sorry but the PG in WU11 is so bad have had to yank it out. Am reverting to pre-wu11 until such time that it is fixed.

Just fyi for you, you can remove the Canada PG in the world update install options (where you would choose which airports to install and such) and still keep all the good stuff like the better DEM and airports and such.
Water & Terrain fix for Banff to Jasper Alberta
Water and Ground fix for Banff National Park, Lake Louise area and Jasper NP in Alberta, Canada. this will be a work in progress for some time. I have created a simple update to fix a few lakes and to make the river and highway even since the river appears higher than the highway in several places. several jagged area and submerged roads have been fixed. A new feature is that the wildlife overpasses will be raised.
