    DEVELOPMENT DISCONTINUED

    Accurate rendition of Santa Cruz do Sul airfield in southern Brazil, a general aviation airfield that has a 1200 meter long runway with a peculiar slope. Contains custom high-resolution imagery (15 cm, as much as MSFS allows to) and 1 meter resolution Digital Elevation Model.

    Features custom-made 3D models for the airfield's hangars and passenger terminal, with (some) PBR materials. Modelling was carefully made not to be heavy on system resources, so it's really not more intensive than default scenery. There is no need to install any external library, as long as you have the default World Updates everything should appear correctly.

    Parking spaces are set up in a way that you can start cold and dark as you wish, and there will be no pushback or marshallers. Unused spaces can be used by MSFS to feature static aircraft, if you set it to.

    I live in Santa Cruz do Sul and work in the prefecture. I was here recently. I tested this package in MSFS 2020 and 2024. It's identical in the sim! If everything goes right, I will take my PPL here.

    Boa noite amigo ,sou de Santa Cruz do Sul. Baixei o arquivo mas depois de coloca-lo na pasta recomendada o aeroclube não muda. Fiz o mesmo processo no de cachoeira do sul e funcionou perfeitamente. Se poder me ajudar fico grato.

    I thought it was the downtown cathedral. Couldn't find and came back sad to land on rwy 26 just to see the Linha Santa Cruz church on the right side. Nice touch ;) Azul now flies there with a C208 from Porto Alegre, might mean some improvements to the airfield in the future if the servise holds... Thank you for your continued work on SSSC

    Whoops, my fault - I had totally forgotten about the cathedral. It is indeed the Linha Santa Cruz church that is located close to the field. I may have gotten overexcited about it, since I did most of my training there east of the field, and the church was often my main visual reference to head back to the airfield. BTW, when I was taking my PPL back in 1996 TAM also operated C208s there. It didn't last long, pity.

    Sou de Santa Cruz do Sul e fiz meu PP neste aeroclube. Costumava ter uma ótima equipe de instrutores (não sei como está hoje em dia). Obrigado pelo trabalho de melhorar um pouco este aerodromo. Ficou bem legal.

    (Apologies for replying in English, it's the only allowed language here). I am from Lajeado and also got my PPL there, between 95 and 97, but haven't been to the airfield since 2002. The instructors and planes were indeed top-notch.
    Thank you very much for your kind remarks. This is still a work-in-progress and I plan on keeping up improving it as the SDK evolves.
